A have doubted ricky meesel in the past and hes proved me wrong, doubted him with martinez he done the business, doubted him against katsidis after a had seen him fightin mitchell and he done the business again. A think he fights better against better opposition? wot u think? off too the weigh in shortly..... Burns UD....mon the rickster the brig is behind you. S

Wouldn't call Katsidis world class but still a great win.

It's fights like this that I will support Ricky in. It's a good hard fight IMO. But I think Burns edges out a close decision win.

World Class or not but Burns was the underdog wasn't he ?, any fight where a guy is going in as the underdog you can't complain about opposition level.

Moses is a decent operator, but his record isn't particularly deep. Wouldn't be massively surprised if he wins, but would peg Burns as a heavy favourite.

It's not ludicrous to suggest that Burns stops him I don't think. Moses has quit in him - as my boy Aguacerito demonstrated - so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Burns could impose his size on Moses, wear him down with body shots and halt him down the stretch. I can't really see it though, Burns isn't anywhere as near as much of a spiteful puncher as Acosta was, and as a result I don't think he'll break Moses' will to the same degree.

I really like this fight though, should have been getting more hype in my opinion. Moses is a good fighter, probably just short of having what it takes to be one of 135's best though. Quick of hand and foot, good jab and straight right hand, and a pretty sharp puncher to boot. It'll be interesting to see who tries to press the action, Moses would definitely prefer to stand off and box, but I think he's going to have difficulty in finding his rhythm due to the fact he's not used to fighting guys that are taller than him.

If Burns tries to force the initiative I think it'll be a closer fight than if the opposite happened. Moses might find a home for his 1-2 through Burns' guard, as well as being able to dig a few shots in to the ribs around Ricky's guard. I think Ricky takes a decision though, a 116-112 sort of job. Moses will struggle with Burns' physical dimensions a lot, both defensively and offensively. I can see Burns winning the battle of the jabs, which could be the key to winning the fight imo.
