Shane is old for a fighter, as such you never really know what your going to get from fight to fight, its also a huge factor of the guy that is across from him on any given night...Margo was a style plus for Shane and I have said that all along. Margo is a guy that would stand in front and throw wide shots allowing shane to do what he has always been great at...Vs Cotto what he has was a guy that was more rounded a guy that can box abit and that gave shane some problems...I still thought that Shane won the fight with Cotto but it was a much tougher fight then he had with Margo..In the furture Shane I think if match right could still give us Margo like showings..Vs a Clottey, Hatton or Berto Shane would look great, vs a Williams or even a guy like Cory Spinks I think that he would have tougher fights..Not saying that he couldnt win but they would be tougher fights.

I don't think Mosely is shot. I just think he finally wizened up and got rid of his dad as his trainer. Mosely looked poor against Mayorga because he didn't really come in with any kind of game plan. Richardson is a master at dissecting his fighter's opponent and coming in with a solid strategy. Some of you guys really underestimate the value of having a great trainer....had Judah gotten rid of his dad and brought in a better trainer who knows how his career might have turned out. Remember this though....Mosely beat Collazo decisively, who IMO did enough to deserve the decision against Berto. I don't think Mosely is shot at all. The man has always kept himself in shape and now with Richardson in his corner, I think he'll enjoy another couple years among the elite at 147.

I don't even think he can count on his second wind anymore.

Mosley fought the fight of his life and I don't see him repeating it.

He obviously showed plausible signs of ring wear and age before the

Margie fight....lets not forget that before we crown him as superman.

I do not see Mosley beating Cotto nor Paul Williams....they will both
    hand his ass to him.
Mosley is well past his prime now and unless he adopts Hopkins style of
    ( non ) fighting....he won't repeat that performance.

There is a difference between Shot and someone past their best, Mosley is not Shot but he may be getting to the end of the road, but he is definetly not shot. Big Difference.

GATTI WAS SHOT WHEN HE FOUGHT GOMEZ, THATS WHAT SHOT IS, HE HAD NO REACTIONS OR PUNCH RESISTANCE.

Mosley isn't shot but it's funny how all these guys are jumping all over his nuts just because he beat Margarito who was tailor made for him.

Margarito was tailor made for him so don't get it twisted... It's funny how all these guys think he'll knock out Floyd. ROFL...

He looked and fought the same in both fights. If anything he looked even more jaded against Margarito (probably from the extra effort of making weight) but was simply fighting a smaller, less powerful, less awkward opponent than Mayorga, and was able to implement the kind of fight he wanted right from the start.

Against Margo, he only threw one punch at a time and then grabbed and held. He showed nothing like the ferocity and workrate that brought him to prominence several years ago.

Also, it takes more than simply looking "jaded" to constitute being shot. Jaded is jaded, shot is shot, it's two different things.

I don't know about all that man. Mosley has never really looked "shot" to me.. and he basically fought the same kind of fight against both Mayorga and Margo and had the same kind of results.
