Im a massive Shane fan always loved watching him fight and love his personality out of the ring but i think Cotto will win this alot easier then many think, For a start Shanes wins over Vargas and Collazo paper over the fact that his career had been on a downward slide since 2002, Also i watched Mosleys first fight with Winky and 2 problems became apparant to why Shane wont beat Cotto he doesnt adapt during fights if his plan aint working and he gets to easily discouraged can you imagine how discouraged Shane will be when Cotto hammers his body round after round, Another thing is Shanes defence is poor and always been one of his weakness his reflexes and speed always covered it up but at 35 hes alot slower. Shane always loved u as a fighter but i feel this is 1 fight you cant win.

While Mosley fights very well for a 35-36 year old, it is for a 35-36 year old.

Cotto is a very good fighter and I don't think Shane has as much left as a lot of other people do.

My official pick is Cotto UD 12.

Weird how every post like this start out with "X Is one of my favorites....."

Horse ****, you want Cotto to win, thats why you think he'll win.

Mosley is my favorite boxer, ever. I want him to win, and think he will, but wont be suprised at all if Cotto wins. You are right about his defence, his reflexes and speed made it look good, but it never really was... Neither is Cottos though, and Shane won't go down, until maybe late off of body shots. Cotto will go down... But hes Cotto so he will most likely get up.. Im waiting for fight night...:bbb

How the hell does he get discouraged? You see the Oscar fights?

this fight can go ether way i Can see mosely speed and mutable combos giving cotto problems. but i can see cotto seating traps giving faint jabbing and going to the body. this is technical inside war!!

Mosley starts off hot and ahead on the cards but Cotto wears him down later and also keeps steaming full-ahead in the later rounds to take it

    I agree.
    No way Mosley wins.
    35-36 years old.
He will definately fade and will probably get K.O.'d.
    Remember what Vernon Forest did.
Well Cotto has a hell of lot more.

Mosley can win this and it's very possible. He still has speed, reflexes, explosiveness, a chin, and power. Not to mention he is a great body puncher himself. However, I expect Cotto to outwork Shane, land some vicious body shots, and take the championship rounds.

    Cotto by UD

A couple of powerful punches from either fighter can give us a winner, so I don't think it's 100% a Miguel Cotto win.. ;)

I'm picking Mosley. Even if he were 85 years old he'd be faster than Cotto. It all depends on whether he gets tired while Cotto starts coming on.
