any cruiserweight fighting at heavyweight, it takes a good year or 2 to gain quality muscle mass and all seem to jump up overnight. i might add even with gear weight gain is hard work, its just as much about food.
if THE best cruserweight used them to be heavy weight champ i`d be shocked if the others didnt use the same plan, difference is evan fields was the real deal and gear or not if nobody used, he`d have been the champ still..

i`m sceptical about most american fighters due to the college system and rampant steroid abuse, doesnt matter if they come from da ghetto.. its a national sporting mindset same as russia etc..

not many heavyweights unless theyre lighter ones will have full abs as naturals, its a poor rule of thumb but if they look like they do gear they probly will have, either to drop drop some weight and minimise muscle loss to gain some speed. i know thats not scientific fact, but even when fighters get caught they deny it.. so its all conjecture anyway..

think back to the physiques of yesteryear.. george foreman was one big mutha..



i`d stick my neck out and say tyson furey is totally clean, no one can have such a **** poor physique. he looked a string of **** next to wilder in the ring.

steroids allow you to train harder for longer and stronger those gains stay with you to a degree even when you come off, especially if its only for a few days for testing and fight night.. remember masking agents allow drug use on fight night..

so other than gut instincts and a certain amount of knowledge of gear and human nature lol there you have it

the thing is altho none of the above have physiques you cant attain naturally, its something else entirely, to have abs and size and train.

look at joe calzaghe, i`m sure he used weights but he didnt live in the gym like most "physiques" would need too.. (cos he didnt have a great bod)

you cant just train hard with weights and do your main training of boxing..
most of the physiques you see would need a maintenance dose of weights consistently, this would tire out a natural badly. (other than endurance work, the strength work should be done by then)

far more likely to have periods of weight training focused workouts offseason, then back it off to a maintenance to focus on boxing and fitness training..

a mate of mine thew javelin for england and came third at the AAA`s, he`s a hardcore natural and couldnt understand how he was 10m down on the elite in the world (this was after he retired btw)
he was best mates with englands current no.1 shot putter, who failed a test...
my mate was the last to know..
