Should retire, and do what he has been saying he wants to do, and train.. He fought an awesome fight with Miguel Cotto, a young up and comer who many older fighters wouldnt even wanna touch.. Mosley is not shot, and he is still i top 5(3 heh) Welterweight.. But losing a second fight to Cotto would suck, not saying it would happen, but theres always a chance, and one he should not take, he has done enough in his career, and is known by many as top 5 ATG in two seperate weightclasses.. I thought Shane won the fight, yes of course there was a little biased, but the fight could have very well been over when the ref broke them up.... Cotto is a good champion, ad showed great heart, and versitality, which many new fighters dont have in there first step up in class, he even proved his jab to live up to the hype a little, people can say, well he went into safe mode for the last 2 rounds.. Yeah he did, and rightfully so, he wasnt taking any chances, it was a close fight and could have went either way as it was, and didnt want to let itgo, or get knocked out.. Mosley on the other hand, well he chases in the last rounds even if he is up by 4 rounds, he has always been that way, but he also thought he may have been down.. But i dont think thats why he was chasing the last rounds, i think it was because he was just being Sugar Shane.. On another note, Mosley showed his experience, showed that he still has power which many claimed he didnt, rocking Cotto on 2 different occasions, and even making him wince from a bodyshot.. He also had one of the best pressure fighters in the game on the backfoot, and was effectivley countering off the back foot when needed, also, showed he can use his jabs in different ways.. All these peoples saying he lost his defense, Shane never had good defense.. He had fast hands and was always swinging, he has defense just like Calzaghe does, he can slip a punch when needed, but sure as hell isnt a defensive fighter. My Card: 7-5 Mosley..
Exactly which fight were you watching? Cotto was never hurt. I feel that the only reason he was backing up at the end of the fight was because Mosley had been hugging him too much for about 4 straight rounds and the ref didn't do anything about this excessive hugging, so Cotto was very tired after having to wrestle Mosley to at least be able to throw punches and win those rounds.
Your ridiculous :-( Casa was a robbery no doubt, but Cotto out boxed the boxer it was excellent. My buddy Snake who works in Sugars camp said Cotto earned the Win. Mosley and Hoya both admitted defeat, I'm sure you could put aside you hate and give Mosley and Cotto their props. Check out the post fight interviews to stamp it and hear the facts. Great fight for the record books.:smoke
