Mosley said it himself that Berto would be a tougher challenge than Margarito. Now that the fight almost happened and didn't but instead both guys have fought and won in their recent bouts, could a Mosley-Berto unification fight be on the horizon?

You know Mosley doesn't duck anyone so it's up to Berto's people. It would be a war based on their styles. Both come to fight.

Mosley would destroy Berto within 5 rounds

If that's the next fight, I'll put 100bucks on Berto - because the odds will be so heavily tilted toward Mosley after their fights this past week.

I'm not sold on Berto, I think he has potential but a fight with someone as experienced as Mosley right now would be a big challenge. I think Mosley would be in control for most of the fight and stop Berto late.

With Hatton and Pacquiao set to face each other and Mayweather (if he comes back) most likely to face the winner. It is not not a bad deal for Mosley as well as Berto. They would both have a chance to add another tittle at 147 to the ones they already have. Also a rematch with Cotto asuming he wins his upcoming fight would be good for Mosley as well. Mosley is going to have a lot of options.

Wouldn't shock me if this happened...Mosley is the kind of guy who would take this fight...he ducks NO ONE!

I agree, Mosley is too strong and Berto's chin is too suspect. Though styles make fights.

I still think Arum pushes for a Cotto-Margarito rematch at MSG on the eve of the Puerto Rican day parade. Realisitically Mosley can either pursue Berto or Clottey for unification matches and if the past is any indication I think it will be Berto.

As I said in the previous thread the only thing is Berto is up and coming so may take another fight, I think a Clottey fight is more likely then this. I love Berto and had the same results as 2 of the judges in last weeks fight, though a few swing rounds. Right now I can see it, but the chances of it happening before 1 more noteworthy fight for Berto is a bit up in the air. I can see both fighting again and having a Nov/Dec fight though.

If Shane signed to fight Clottey, I wouldn't know whether to applaud him or slap his manager.

You need a great jab to beat Mosley. IMO Berto's is not good enough. This fight should be slaughter.

Yeah me neither, it'd be a iffy choice but Clottey is a very underated boxer I think. It wouldn't draw no money but if he wants a fight then Clottey is a great choice. Berto be good, but he has to have at least 1 or 2 more top notch fights before it does happen. If anything to just prove himself to the publics eye.
