    Let's be real here, neither of these two shy away from the frequent man hug. So do you think there will be over or under one hundred billion clinches in this fight? :think What say you?

    Personally, I feel it'll be under because I'm prety certain Mosley knocks Berto's block off within the distance... after about fifty billion clinches of course.

    Mosley's only had a couple of fights that I would label as clinch-fests. He does clinch, but generally not to an excessive degree. Though Forrest II was one of the ugliest fights I've ever seen. There probably will be a lot of clinching, but hopefully it won't just be hugging to a standstill until the ref breaks them, but clinching with some wrestling and in-fighting thrown in, which Mosley does often and generally to good effect.

    The way Bert hugged Urango like he was his prom date was dissapointing. Molsey clinches but nowhere near as much as Berto.

    Berto will be doing most of the holding like he did to Urango. If he doesn't, Mosley will knock him out. The only thing that will contribute greatly to a Mosley loss will be ring rust.

    Beg to differ. Only real clinchfest I've seen form Berto is the Urango fight. Remember, he wasn't allowed to hold as much as he wanted to in thew Collazo fight becausue the ref put the smackdown on him early with a point deduction.

    While Mosley has been in some of the most hideous, grab infested top level fights of recent years. Shane versus Mayorga and Margario were terrible to watch, and the Forrest fight was one of the worst I've ever seen.

    Truth be told, Mosley almost always prefers to clinch rather than fight on the inside or get into exchanges particularly in the later stages of his career.

    Or advanced age. You never know when an older fighter will finally start to look old.

    Your right about the Mayorga fight but i dont remember the Margarito fight clinching that much. But i havent seen the fight in a while therefore i would have to watch it again. Hopefully the action will flow more in this fight.

    He did clinch often in that fight, but he was landing cleanly enough and there was enough extended action that I still find it exciting whenever I watch it. The Mayorga fight was pretty ugly, though it did have some good action, but I'm pretty sure it was Mayorga initiating more of the clinches in that one. There was also a good amount of clinching in the Cotto fight, but usually it was wrestling and in-fighting, not just hugging and waiting to be broken up.

    Urango said after his fight with Berto that Berto hugged him more in 12 rounds then his wife has in 15 years.

    Very good point.

    Go ahead and watch it man, Mosley clinched like a madman in that fight. It was part of his tactics, made the fight somewhat ugly, but hey it worked well for him.

    :lol::lol:
    You should definitely give the Margarito fight a second look then. Mosley had Margo in headlocks for crying out loud!

    I don't know guys, with the way these two initiate ugly wrestling on the inside I'm not going to get my hopes up that this fight will actually be entertaining to watch. Especially if Berto decides to get on his bike and run around all over the ring. If that happens the only thing Berto will accomplish in doing is having me change the ****ing channel.
