Mosley/Berto possible for 1/24

    Now that Margarito seems to be bowing out of the Mosley fight, talk is that Shane will take on Andre Berto.

    I'm actually MORE excited about this fight than with Margo. It's a great matchup and I applaud Mosley for wanting to take ANY fight against top competition.

    Now for the dream: Mosley/Berto and Margarito/Williams on the same card. How great would that be?

    Everyone talks about Margarito like he's a ****in' golem...

    Mosley would give Margarito a nice run for his money...his chin is HEAVILY underrated...

    He fought a 170 lb Mayorga...13 lb weight difference in that fight...and still knocked his ass out...

    I think if he has the power to knock out a 170 lb Mayorga...he might give Margarita more issues than most people think

    im DEFINITELY not saying he'll win...but itll be a good fight nonetheless

    Funny thing, wasn't there a strong rumor that Berto was moving down to 140? It is a very interesting fight, Berto is in trouble. Mosley is going to take it out on Berto for Marg not wanting to fight.

    If Mosley wins (and I think he will) and given the fact that he couldn't land Marg, and the fact a Paul Williams fight probably won't happen, I think DLH and Mosley might have a rubber match- the $$$ potential generated by that would be impossible to ignore, and would give both men a last huge pay day before they bow out.

    This is totally unrelated, but is referencing a golem common? I understand a golem comes from Jewish myth or legend. A rabbi makes a clay figure, brings it to life to do the rabbi's bidding. Soon the golem becomes more powerful than the rabbi and takes over his life. Anyways just wondering, don't hear it referenced very often. Berto/SSM. Sugar Shane takes this fight, ill go with KO.

    Berto by close UD over Mosley, Williams late round stoppage over Margarito. Both fights would be closely and very toughly fought. It would be a hell of a night for boxing, and the winners should sguare off after to determine the number 1 Welterweight.

    Interesting picks. I could see the Berto pick happening, but I don't see Williams stopping Margarito.

    LOL I think many guys would be surprised with the outcome, if this fight takes place.

    But yes, this would make an exciting fight, I agree! I'd love to see that fight confirmed and scheduled.
