Anyway, it was Bumaye coz Ali knew Foreman gets tired somewhere, and boy did he take advantage of that. Floyd on the other side... different story.

    Will Roger throw the towel?

(probably the answer is NO since Roger might be in prison already by May 1)

I think I put up a mental block for floyd a lot of the time. Plus I was in the navy until July, so I never spent as much time watching boxing as I wish I could have.

So I get to follow more closely and see more inside stuff and I just started to think "man, what the **** is wrong with floyd?"

    Then he doesn't make weight.
    Then he ducks pac.
And all the **** talking he does about the other fighters.
He tried to convince the entire boxing world that Mosley wasn't worth fighting, which just makes me sick.

I honestly know floyd is amazingly gifted, but his ego needs to be put in check so he can have something worth fighting for.
A loss would remind him "i'm not unbeatable... i'm not perfect... i'm just a slick ass boxer with amazing defense"
I think he has the potential to go down in history as the greatest boxer who ever lived, and he is pissing on the notion everytime I hear Matthew hatton or Nate campbell type match ups.
Everything he says in interviews is spitting on the legacy of other fighters in order to make himself look good. Why knock Mosley for losing to winky wright and vernon forrest?
Why knock leonard for losing to camacho?
Why be such an arrogant dick?

I agree with a lot of what you said. It's frustrating. I've become a bit accustomed to it. But a lot of people don't. They just project their hate. That's why some of the Floyd fans are so extremely defensive. Because here's the breakdown. They are probably just as much if not more Pac fanatics than Floyd fanatics. There are a lot of moderate Floyd fans, as there are just Pac fans too. Most people that fall in the moderate to non-fan generally just hate Floyd so much. To the point of it looking and seeming unhealthy. Now because of this, there are a lot of Floyd fans willing to defend him. He has the very loyal supporters, and then there are those who just disagree with people who jump on him for every single thing because of his reputation ALA The Ron Artest effect (Via 2006-2008).

The only thing I disagree with is the ducking of Pac. Most people hate Floyd so they side with Pac. Floyd seemed to make more of an effort in that fight happening then did for Mosley or Margarito from 2006 onward. You have to agree with that. Some can believe it was just some elaborate plan to make him look good and then just duck without it looking that way. I'm not sure I buy it. Hopefully he just fights Mosley though.

The cocky attitude, the ego, the flash, the style... that's nothing new. I don't think that initial bothered you, but now since he's doing all that while not fighting the best. That mentality attitude becomes even more infuriating... because of he fights the best he at least has a reason to act that way. Is that the way you see it?

Pac and his entire team have done this in public, yet u can be found in many threads where u defend him in his lies. You contractict yourself all the time here. You said u had no idea why pac would refuse a 14 day cut off and that it was more than reasonable only to know be heard saying mayweather ducked pac.Which is it man? who are you?

I don't see how Mosley is a low reward fight. That's the second biggest fight that Mayweather can make right now.

Ali said I am the greatest, and he pretty much was.
Floyd said I am the greatest, and then decisioned Marquez.

He basically threw manny under the bus with the steroid allegations which leads to nothing but insults to Manny, who is an exciting small boxer who has a poverty stricken country to fight for.
Why accuse him of steroids with no proof or reason?
Why ask him to do what you didn't ask anyone before?
Why hurt his name and career over ****ing nothing?

That **** makes me so upset with floyd, I will just nit pick every stupid decision he makes.
He wants to accuse manny of being on steroids with no evidence? Fine... he's a cherry picking, lidocaine injecting, overhyped piece of ****.
I don't believe that totally, but I also don't believe Manny is on roids, so fair game in my book.

I love Ali as much as the next guy. But this is somewhat of an oxymoron. Unless fighting the best is what matters most to you. Maybe you forgive behavior or mentality. Ali was cocky, and very brash. He was the father of guys like RJJ and Floyd. They never had his charisma nor were they ever as funny as Ali. Ali at one point was hated too (When he was champ to FOTC).

His legend grow. But he said some very mean and cruel things to Joe Frazier. And said things about Floyd Patterson for no real good reason. Called some fighters an uncle tom (Floyd, Terrel, Frazier). Called Frazier a "gorilla" and referred to Frazier as ignorant, stupid, ugly and said that in private that he was just a "pure ****** that didn't wasn't aware or didn't know what was going on around him."

I have a lot of idols and heroes. But I take the best qualities of them because rarely no is perfect. My other favorites like Marciano and Frazier had their faults and negative qualities too. I try taking the good with the bad. But the hero-worship of Ali has come with a bit of revisionism combined with some misinterpretation by the media. The movie Ali disgustingly represented the truth between Ali at times, and his treatment of Joe Frazier. And the way they represented Frazier... the man who helped Ali get his license.

Now, I believe Ali didn't despise Frazier. I think he didn't like what he represented, and knew he got mad whenever he was jocking him. I also think he did it for showmanship and publicity too.

Yeah, Pac should have taken the 14 day cut off, but I think floyd screwed the entire thing from the beginning with the steroid scandal.

I wasn't blaming pac for not taking a 14 day cut off, because steroid accusations were so absurd, but I wish he had.
He had no justifiable reason to say no to a 14 day cut off in my head, but it's his call, not mine.

when your attempting to be clever or witty its never good if you have to immediately explain the phrase your using to be witty with, and by the way dont assume were all stupid fans who just like pacquiao like you, all boxing fans know about ali foreman in the jungle and the infamous chant
