With the right strategy Clottey should win. He needs to take advantage of Shane's lack of stamina and be more adventurous than against Pacquiao. I don't think Shane has one punch KO power against Clottey so Clottey can risk forcing the attack. When Shane gasses after 5 rounds Clottey should take the latter rounds for a UD win.
Clottey would beat the **** out him for four rounds and then quit fighting because of a stubbed toe. He'll then get on the phone to Ghanna and tell everyone he plays dominoes with how he was robbed in America again.
I don't know who wins this, IMO Clottey looked decent against Judah and he looked better against Cotto than Mosley did. A peak Mosley wins an easy UD BUT Mosley will be 39 when this fights comes off, so it could go either way.
no it wasnt...im married..dont worry about my personal life..comment on the damn thread.. N BTW DONT ACT LIKE THAT $HIT DONT WORK BOTH WAYS :nono
NOPE..SHANE IS OLD...I ADMIT THAT...BUT HIS GAME AND STAMINA ISNT AS BAD AS U N SOME OTHERS THINK. WAIT TILL SHANES NEXT FIGHT...IT WILL TELL US ALOT ABOUT WETHER IT WAS FLOYD HANDCUFFING SHANE N TIMING HIM OR IF SHANE IS NOT JUST OLD BUT ALSO PAST IT... I DONT THINK HES PRIME BY ANY MEANS..SHANE'S PRIME WAS 99-2002...BUT HE ISN'T AS BROKE AS SOME OF YA'LL THINK... THE MAJORITY OF FANS SEEM TO THINK HE CAN BEAT ALL THE TOP WW'S EVEN AT THIS STAGE OF HIS CAREER ASIDE FROM MANNY AND FLOYD...:deal
There are very few class A fighters around today at WW so maybe he can beat most of the WWs but its because the other guys just aren't that good, Clottey would not be an easy fight at all for this version of Mosley and I could actually see him winning a SD, Shane should be able to handle Berto but again I wouldn't be surprised if he was upset. Up at 154 Dzinzurak and Cotto UD him, and I'm not sure how he does against Martinez, I think he takes Williams. Shane use to be a Class A fighter, today he is a B maybe even worse, he will be 39 when and if he steps in the ring again. Shane really is on his last legs, this isn't anti PBF or pro Pac, its just the truth.
the current shane will punch himself out on this one and will be tired around round 6. and by that time, clottey, if he intends to bring it on, would probabaly bully todays version of shane until the ref stops it.
i agree that Clottey can win but no way in hell he stops Shane, even at 39 Shane will last the distance.
it all depend on how much gassed-up mosley will be and how clottey really wants to play it. but yes, decision would be more appropriate if you will weigh-in both fighters last fight.
It would be a tougher fight than Collazo was maybe but go similarly with Shane's showing why he's an elite fighter and Clottey's just a pretty good fighter. They'd be best at 154, for both of them though I think.
