    Cotto may hit harder, however Margaret's punches are more damaging because of the Plaster!!!

    Obviously Mosley was in a competetive fight with Cotto and not Margarito.

    When i saw the fight, Margarito was landing shots on Mosley and one landed just as Mosley was trying to touch gloves. The punches didn't seem to have the same impact as they did on Cotto.

    Lampley said afterwards that Margaret's punches didn't have that thudding sound that they heard so loudly when he fought Cotto!!!!

    Exactly. He didn't have hardly anything, by comparison, to use as a frame of reference. And what he did have:


    Was from a weakened version of Margarito, who had a lot of trouble making weight, from what I hear. Cotto was healthy and traded bombs with Mosley all night.

    You can't compare two different fights and imply he had plaster in one.

    Thats what i thought. It was like a pushing type punch rather than one with snap.

    Perhaps but it would have affected him more later in the fight. The 1st 2 rounds he came out like gangbusters, obviously looking to score a KO. His punches didn't have the same impact.

    Why not? Its not like a huge amount of time in between. Why did he seem to have less impact in his punches?

    Margarito is 1-2 with 0 KOs since his special wraps were taken away. I don't even think he's scored a KD since his wraps were confiscated.

    Cotto does hit harder than Margarito. Cintron probaby does too. But, Margo has a better chin and is mentally tougher

    Mosley "I've never been hit like that" marquez and margarito did not think much of pacs punch.....so how credible is he.
