Mosley: Cotto hits harder than Margarito

Mosley knocked the wind out of margarito in round 1...MARGO never had a chance to really land flush... can we all agree, that MARGARITO VS. MOSLEY was MARGARITOS "first fair fight?"...

 

He dropped that bum he fought post Mosley...but never finished him.

 

Yeah but Roberto had his ass running hard second half of fight.

 

Would it, for sure? Sometimes guys are sapped when they get in the ring and simply don't have any snap at any point. I'm reminded of ODLH against Pac.

He hurt Pac, and knocked the natural light middleweight Garcia down, actually. But, perhaps it's actually logical to assume that any time he ever hurt anybody, KD'd them or KO'd them, he had loaded gloves and by some miracle he only got caught by the time of Mosley. He's a powerless wimp, assuming that.

 

I agree with this, also Margerito punch output is alot higher than Cotto. If cotto decides he can't move theres upto a 1000 punches heading his way

 

Cotto will put an end to Margaritos career. He will target Margo's bad eye until they stop the fight out of concern. Actually he just needs to do the same fight he did in the first 5 rounds and when pressured he just needs to tight up. He will win easily. I've been to Cottos camp here in Orlando and the dude looks focus and intense....fast too. He is all in for this fight.

 

Was this ever in dispute?

Cotto has always been regarded as heavy handed whereas Margarito's stoppages have come from accumulation.

 

With or without the illegal wraps?

 

Trust me, he knows.

 

I've seen a lot of Margo's fights and almost all of Cotto's fights and Tony has has some early devastating KO's in the past. In fact, I've never seen Cotto take a guy out the way Margo took out Manuel Gomez. Tony just about took his ****ing head off in just a single round of work.

Even still, it wouldn't surprise me if Cotto does hit harder... although I don't consider either guy a one punch KO artist. Neither guy hits THAT hard.

 

Huh?? Did Margo hit any significant punches to Mosley. When I was watching the fight, I thought Margo needed to hit Mosley any hard punch that really lands to change the momentum of the fight. Margo didn't hit him any so that it became one-sided.

Mosley was never really that good anymore even in the Margarito fight. The only thing what he has is that he is skilled enough to take advantage of every opponent flaw which is pretty obvious when were talking about Margarito.

Couldn't you notice the angles when Margo was throwing punches @ him? He couldn't hit him. Unless if you include those on the clinch punches in which I think is hilarious cause Margo couldn't throw full blows in those ranges. He never had the chance to whale against Mosley cause he was timing him with counters and clinches. Styles makes fight and Margo didn't hit him any significant there. That's the fact.

 

Margarito was lethargic against Mosley.
