And what would the ramifications be if Mosley was given the nod over Cotto before the Margarito fight?
I had it 116-114 for Cotto. Mosley winning rounds 3,7 and 11 and 12. Cotto winning rounds 1,2,4,6,8 and 9. Rounds 5 and 10 even. It was a close fight and you could argue Mosley won it. The Mosley that fought Cotto is probably a little bit too hittable, even for slo-mo Margarito and he likely gets stopped late in the fight. I think a prime Mosley does a number on Margarito but he's too stationary of late to pull it off I think. Perhaps Shane's chin would have held up and he'd nick a close points win, but I doubt it.
