Anyone else notice a double standard when talking about their losses?

A lot of people slam Oscar and say he lost all his biggest fights but seem to make excuses for Shane's (he should never have fought Forrest/ Winky, too big, wrong styles, no reward, etc).

    Your thoughts

Oscar showed he had balls his entire life by fighting the best constantly and even in defeat, he was always very competitive except possibly in the Hopkins fight where he was obviously stretched too far up in weight divisions...and the Pacquiao one !

The more popular fighters almost always gets slammed more by people, therefore Oscar got more heat for his losses !!

I think the fact that Oscar talks too much like a business-man and comes across as a 2-faced politician (and a momma's boy) while Mosley comes across as more of a down-to-earth, hardcore fighting man and a genuine guy is also a factor.
And there's the little tidbit that Mosley beat DLH, in his prime, no less.
Ii agree there is somewhat of a double standard, but it has it's reasons.

DLH just sucks, thats all that is. and to think PPL were really thinking his sorry ass can beat somebody as good as Pacquiao, still the easiest $3500 I've ever made

First off Oscar didnt lose all his big fights the first Chavez fight,Quartey,Vargas,Whitaker where all gigantic fights for him that he won. Why would slam Mosley ? He has basically a mixed back in his biggest fights 2 wins over Oscar,a win over Margarito and a close lose to Cotto. The Vargas fights where probablly as big as Winky and Forrest for Shane just we turn the losses into some big fights now because he did indeed lose. But I mean in Shanes biggest fights with the most hype and pressure hes performed outstanding. I dont make excuses for Shanes loses the Cotto fight could have indeed gone either way but Shane probablly couldve did alittle more late. He tried to avenge Forrest and Winky both times give him credit and give him credit for giving them a shot. He also gave Luiz Collazo a shot when noboddy wanted to face him after Ricky Hatton.

To be fair to Oscar he was screwed vs Tito Trinidad we all know that. Mosley was on steriods although I think it mattered nothing in the fight its still something Oscar can hang on to. He bit off more then he could chew with Hopkins in size give him credit for trying. For only fighting 6 rounds in 3 years he fought damn well in his mid 30s vs the supposed great Floyd Mayweather. He was a corpse fighting Pacquiao he starved himself for weeks to maintain 147 instead of cutting it over 2-3 days then rehydrating, that said he has noboddy but to blaim for that but himself.

Yeah, he definately sucks, that's why he only beat Paez, Molina, G. Hernandez, Leija, Chavez x2, Whitaker, Camacho, Quartey, Gatti, Vargas, Campas, and Mayorga right?

Im a Mosley fan, but I do think when he's in trouble, he doesn't know how to adjust. Oscar just got the **** beat out of him by a guy half his size. Thats why he catches hell.

DLH most popular fighter of his generation. Definitly not the best. Not top 3. Maybe top 5.
