Ineffective agression. I have seen fighters do better against Whitaker than DLH did and they received a loss. You shouldn't get credit for missing. On top of that every ignores the knock down. Not the worst decision but it was a bad one.

It was not a bad one at all. That fight was a close one. Just like your hero Pacquiao got the nod over Marquez in the rematch but in your words "many people" thought Marquez won the fight. <<<<Was that a bad decision? Of course not just like De la hoya vs Whitaker.

The Pac avatar is a shot at Hatton. I was at the first Pac vs Marquez fight and I had it close. The 2nd one I actually had for Marquez. Sometimes judges do what's best for boxing. Pac has the money tag and so did Oscar. Whitaker was not going to be the draw that a 24 year old DLH was going to be. Whitaker was past his prime and he was lucky to win any of his previous 3 fights. He looked better against Oscar than he did against Rivera and especially against Hurtado.
The Oscar vs Whitaker decision was no good.

Everyone ignores the kd because it was a slip counted as a kd. Sure, the 2 pts are there in history and can't be taken away. So be it. But Oscar was switching stances while Whitaker missed a punch and grazed him with the side of his arm, creating more of a push than a punch on an off balanced opponent. That's why no one takes it that seriously. Watch that part again, you'll see it.

I give Oscar credit for fighting the best fighters in their prime, but the only fighter that he was at a disadvantage with out of the ones buckdacious mentioned was Pac-Man and he did that to his self.

I know it was a weak kd. Whitaker had no power. It still should have counted in the score cards though. Rules are rules.

He didn't lose ANY of those fights except for Pac, and imho he won the second Mosley fight, and most likely Mosley was juiced for their first fight.

    How's that hatorade tasting?

Based on what evidence? He didn't look bulked up until the 2nd Oscar fight. He beat Oscar fair and square in fight one. Oscar schooled him in fight 2.

When will Oscar catch a break? He fights all the top guys, has an exciting style and knockout power. He made every fight close except for Pacquiao and Hopkins, the decisions that everyone talks about really could have gone both ways. People are so fickle about this guy. You know early in De la Hoya's career he was known to finish the championship rounds hard and have a soft chin? It's ridiculous give the guy a break.:patsch

Both guys are two of the best, would take on anyone, unlike Floyd who dose not have as good wins as these two.
