I just rewatched the fight. Mosley was terrible inactive. He threw about 20 punches a round, ridcoulous. You can't be competitive with Floyd with such a low workrate. The guy was gassed after a few rounds, I don't know if it was the missing enhancement drugs or just his age.

Mosley was gasping for air, looked gassed after just a few rounds. Floyd had nothing to do with that. In the Cotto and Margarito fights, Shane was a lot more active. I give Floyd credit for taking on the challenge but really he beat pretty much a dead man last saturday.

Adrenaline rush kept mosley going vs margarito, because he was landing punches.
    Missing big shots isnt fun.

Mosley tends not to throw punches when the **** hits the roof.

Just watch the DLH II fight, the first Forrest and Winky fights...He gets GUN SHY, they talk a lot about it in the second DLH fight.

Think about this,Most people think that the Oscar that fought Pac was shot and he pretty much was but he threw almost as many punches in nine rounds as Mosley threw in twelve against Floyd.

Yes, because if he threw stupid shots he would have got dropped. Its easy to say he didn't throw anything, but Mayweather is just too fast and reflexive. If you watch Mosely throughout the fight, after the 2nd round, he didn't even dare to throw the 1-2 shot he would have got countered heavily.

He threw 452, Hatton only throw 372 in their 10 rounds and Castillo only 506 in their first fight. Floyd's style leads itself to lower punch output's, why can't people see that?

If you want to beat floyd you have to be prepared to be hit while throwing punches...

Not to take away anything frm the win but i think the 2nd round added to mosleys age suddenly caught up with him

Lack of confidence....Shane fought like a fighter who didn't expect to win. And that has to do with floyd being a great boxer who got to Shane mentally. Even in the 2nd round Shane caught Floyd but wasn't confident enough to open up and try to end the show....Floyd deserves props for doing what he did against Shane. I feel the same way about how Manny dominated DLH, yet many want to offer explanations to "WHY" Manny won or in this case..."WHY" Floyd won agaisnt Shane. They were just better!

He's nearing 40 what did you expect? He is the same guy that fought Mayorga a couple of years back and looked **** even then.

Really, what do people expect? He is way past his best like all Floyds cherry picks.

I don't know why they can't see it. Check PBF last 10 opponents and you'll see they all have lower than normal punch outputs and their connect % is at or around career lows. It's like that for a reason.

I didn't say he was prime. All I'm giving you is statistics, which clearly show that Mosley throw a similar number of punches to Floyd's other opponents.
