Hey, at least you are standing your ground! You were an idiot before the fight and you're still an idiot. At least you're not running away like the other haters, so for that, I applaud you.

LOL no, he got tired because he is nearly 40, Floyd had no need to turn anything up.

He was to cautious of getting hit his defense is too inadequate against Mayweather to come in without getting tagged. Basically he didn't want to keep getting tagged and was hoping Mayweather made a mistake. Without a doubt I feel Mosley was washed up on Saturday and would have given a much more competitive bout in his prime. However, his lack of boxing fundamentals such as a strong jab and solid defense would always hurt him against Mayweather because without defense and a good jab it would be too difficult to close the distance to get in range for him to unleash his hooks without getting hit. Nonetheless, i'm sure a prime Mosley would have at least obliged to a punch out with Mayweather if he was willing to walk him down as he was on Saturday.

some of you just dont get it. merchant said it prefectly

"when a fighter is use to being the faster guy in the ring and he faces a fighter who is as fast or faster, it changes everything".

he fights a slower, less technically capable fighter in margartio and looked great

he fights a faster, technically superior fighter in mayweather, and he looks like ****

    it aint rocket science.

i just dont' get why this is so hard to comprehend. the critics of all people should know this b/c they say the same **** after every single floyd fight. the common denominator is floyd you ****in boxing geniuses. he makes you not want to throw bc he will counter with clean accurate punches. which we all know will knock you on your ass. power in boxing is overrated...a clean punch will send you packing. the man has 41 wins w/ 25 ko's...that is more 50% of his fights which is great for a so called "runner" and defensive minded boxer. wake up!

The higher your work-rate, the more you get countered. How you deal with this problem will define your fight against a top class counter-puncher. But the extent of your resopnse is defined, to a degree, by the quality of your opponent.

Mayweather owned Sugar. Any other conclusion is odd.

Mosley also only threw 30 punches per round against Mayorga, and that wasnt half as hard a target.

a great counterpuncher will make you throw less. bernard hopkins is also great at this. why, because hopkins, like mayweather is a great counterpuncher. of course, hes past in now, but in his heyday, he was on the same level as mayweather. pac's punch output will also decrease as well, will it decrease enough for mayweather to win, that remains to be seen.

people act like mayweather slept with their mother, the way they hate him. but even if you hate the man, you cant deny his skills.

Yet the same logic doesnt apply for Oscar-Pac. Where Oscar for the first 2 rounds threw quite a few punches yet became very hesitant thereafter because he was missing Pac and getting countered.

I attribute a lot of Shane's tiredness to Floyd, credit where credit is due, but some people really cannot see their own hypocrisy. This isnt aimed at you specifically...just a general statement about a lot of Floyd fans here now crying because credit isnt being given where its due...and instead words such as "old", "tired", "shot" are being thrown around.
