They want to discredit the win.

Not only that Shane was very tense, he wasted alot of energy just bouncing around

    Right.

I'm only a fan for the bell at the beginning of 1 until the end of the fight...in between matches I could strangle him in his sleep.

Mosley was not gassed at all. I haven't heard Shane say that he felt tired. Mosley ws gun shy because Mayweather was too skilled, and was hitting him with precision shots. You haters realize that but refuse to give Mayweather credit, but it doesn't change the fact that he took the #1 WW to school.

I have no problem people calling mosley old. The guy is 38. He aint exactly young. But saying he shot is just ridiculous when he could still beat the likes of Berto, Margarito, Cintron and Clottey.

i agree. i know this gets repeated a lot but its like you have to discredit every other boxer except for the one you like which is utterly ridiculous. but in all actuality it is a sign of the times b/c it happens in all sports and even politics, if its your guy you blindly follow and discredit or not want to hear anything the other side has to say...again utterly ridiculous!

I didn't see stamina issues, I saw timing and committment issues. Once he started getting countered significantly, Mosley's offense was neutralized. It's not like Floyd was on his bike and Mosley couldn't keep up with him. Floyd spent much of the fight right there but Shane got gun shy because of the accuracy of Floyd's countering. This is Mayweather's game - breaking an opponent's rhythm and confindence.

dlh looked much slower and was fighting at a weightclass he didnt belong. dlh was too big for 147. and dlh didnt land ****, even from the begining. mosley at least landed a few big shots. this proves that mosley, had he fought a slower, less technically inclined fighter, ie margarito, he would done far better. dlh on the other hand, wasnt even fighting in his right division, 154.

Very true. It's tough to fire punches when you are scared to death of getting countered silly! Mayweather is the most technically sound boxer that I have ever seen.

I think that with great boxers or fighters you see this common thread. That their opponents end up throwing less and fighting in a way that you would think they are shot or over the hill when in fact the problem is witht he person they are facing who just so happens to take them out of their game.

It wasnt that DLH didn't "TRY" to land a big shot with Manny...he just couldn't. Just like Shane...although he did catch Floyd in round 2...afterwards he didn't land ****..he couldn't. He was completely taken out of his game by the better fighter and I think that's what happened to DLH when he got dominated by Manny. There shouldn't be any excuses for either man winning against these kinds of fighters. Shane and DLH are ATG's and future hall of famers. Floyd got himself a GREAT win and in dominating fashion...as did Manny against DLH.

because he's undefeated...they DO see that...

but because he's Undefeated that pisses people off so they hate on him...
really how many rounds has floyd lost in his entire career??

Unless he beats pacquiao only then they MIGHT see start givin him credit..

Floyd stood in front of mosley and pressed him throughout the fight, he gave Mosley plenty of opportunity to throw but Mosley couldn't pull the trigger. He looked like a shot fighter. He was completely gassed by the mid rounds. I watched the fight again. He looked almost as bad as De La Hoya did against Pacquiao.

Shane threw more in this fight than he did against Mayorga. Was he gassed in the Mayorga fight? Because he came back and put an ass-whipping on Margarito and showed no signs of being tired.

Styles make fights, and Floyd's style made a long night for Shane, who is certainly not in his prime (neither is Floyd, physically, at 33) but is still a top 3 welter. In my estimation Shane still beats any welterweight not named Floyd or Manny.
