I've always liked Mosley but I think he picked a horrible style for him to deal with in Mora. I would like to be wrong but I think Mora beats him. If Mora does beat him then I think Shane should really consider hanging them up. Maybe a soft touch for a a going away fight and retire. If he beats Mora and shows that he can still compete near the top then there are several fights that make sense. Pacquaio, Cotto, and Berto would all be good fights. I always thought Mosley would match up well with Williams but I think he's getting too old for that fight now.
If Mosley beats Mora then I'd like to see him fight against Pacquiao then a rematch that he deserves against Cotto. Hopefully they fight in vegas and not in new york this time
I'd like him to hang them up. However if we have to choose options from fighting I'd like him to get a bit of a run going at 154, a weight he's struggled at a bit. There's no one at this weight who was better than the Winky Wright he fought. So. Beat Mora. Beat a belt holder at 154. Take the fight against Paul Williams, its always going to be a tough fight for someone as small as Shane but I think he can really bang Williams to the body like no one else and then take his head. Then retire.
If it goes well against Mora then rematch Cotto and retire after it. I hope he doesn't stay there for long to risk losing against guys he isn't supposed to lose to.
Ofcourse I watched the bout. Mosley put everything into the 2nd round, wanted a breather in the 3rd...and that's when Mayweather upped his work. Resulting in Mosley missing punches, and not gaining his 2nd wind until late on in the bout when it was too late. In the middle rounds Mosley looked out on his feet, and if I remember rightly he started trying to land on Mayweather again in the last 2. (?) It's not as simple as Mosley gassed...the same way it isn't as simple as Mayweather made Mosley gas like some people say. It was a combination of the two.
