I do not care much how much gold we have in the reserve, if America prints more money and the government says $100 is worth $100, I'll take cash anytime, anyday of the week. Inflation or no inflation, cash is cash, and I'll take it anytime over a bar of gold with the same value. Gold might go up in value, but you have to find a buyer to sell it first to get its full value.
