Nuzhnenko did "call out" Cotto (can be googled). Of course it's not a money fight. I have no problem with Miguel&Arum not wanting it.

****. Now I have to admit I'm wrong on principle. I was talking to you about Yuriy Nuzhnenko and because the thread is about Vyacheslav Senchenko I was looking at his pages and got my wires crossed. You have won the day and I present to you my nuts on a silver platter. Nuzhenko was the Interim champion. But I don't see anywhere where he has been Cotto's mandatory being ducked against the rules, which would get him stripped, I assume. Which would be the length of time I'd call it ducking. I can find one source where Margarito was ordered by the WBA to fight him after taking Cotto's title, though. I'm still not convinced that Cotto "ducked" Nuzhnenko. Or anybody else whose name ends in 'enko'. :?

Why do you American fans declare any boxer with an Eastern European name "bum"? I guess Dzindziruk was declared couple of years back a "europbum". Now that showtime broadcasts his fights, he is not a eurobum anymore.

I havent seen this fighter so far, but I could imagine he is good. It will turn out as soon as we see him. Let's make him fight Said Ouali on May-Pac undercard.

Wow big news....another guy nobody cares about has been given some sort of champion status nobody cares about

I'm looking forward to the fight to unify the WBA's Interim belt, the actual belt, the super champ belt and any other belts they have made up to charge some more sanctioning fees

Soon they are just gonna have one of those vendin machines in boxing gyms all over the world....put $1000 in and you too can have a belt
