Yeah yeah Hattons not a WW, why? Because he can make 140lbs? So Floyd is not a WW either, Pac isn't a Lt WW then, JMM isn't a LW....because all of those guys could be fighting in classes below they are currently. Just ****ing ADMIT IT, Hatton isn't up at what would be the more comfortable weight because the competition is too stiff and he wouldd get his ass kicked. If he didn't want to be a WW, then why did he make the move there??? Only to be smacked with reality and move back down :yep
Yeah, jumping on the Mosley bandwagon now :rofl:rofl:rofl Because NOBODY knew who Shane Mosley was until he beat Margocheato right? atsch
Are you capable of debating this like an adult? Il assume by your post your not. Now seeing as Hatton fought at 147 proudly proclaims that he won a title there and 140lbs is a paltry (try not to confuse paltry with poultry..the latter one is a chicken...) 7lbs north of 140 ( Use your fingers to count) and walks around at 180lbs please explain to the board in detail "how" he isn't a welterweight. Bearing this in mind is Zab Judah also not a welterweight? Matter of fact is Shane even a welterweight as he skipped 140 after moving up from 140. You can also add Floyd to that list and Gatti as well who both started there careers as featherweights.
And Mike Tyson is shorter than Paul Williams, Tommy Hearns, Bernard Hopkins....Why don't you tell me some more Heights genious :good
Journeyman John Brown is 5ft 4. He fought as high as 147. Is he also not a welterweight? Actually conversely was Dennis Peadersen not a featherweight when he fought Hatton? What about Tony Pep whom Hatton won the prestigious WBU off, he was also a career featherweight. Aldo Rios was also a career lightweight as was Lazcano. Any idea's why Ricky fought them when they weren't in he's weight division?
Floyd started he's career at 130lbs. Rose all the way successfully to 54. What was he's excuse? DLH also did the same through 6 divisions what was he's excuse? What about Mosley Cotto and Zab? Please explain this to the board.
No you said he was smaller based on height alone smiley atsch I was pointing out, and you just reinforced the point that height alone is a dumb ****ing way to judge size.
No Hatton moved up to WW and struggled with Collazo ....badly. He then realized that the guys who compete in that division would beat him, so he scurried back to Lt WW. He showed balls by fighting Floyd, but if you say Hatton isn't a WW then Floyd definitely isn't one because he can probably still make Lightweight for ****s sake. And Hatton only fought Floyd at 147lbs because he had to and got paid a gazillion dollars for it.
Collazo won the vacant WBA against a nobody and Hatton chose THE WEAKEST belt holder at 47 when the likes of Judah Cotto Marg Shane DLH Cintron were all at the weight. But you actually think Collazo is better than the aforementioned right? The jury rests.
