"When Cotto fought Margarito, I think that Margarito looked at my tape alot and watched how I kinda walked him down in the later rounds, and how Cotto was fading. I think that Margarito just picked it up from round one, where I did the same and had Cotto moving around from eight through twelve. Margarito just started in round one and wore him down earlier. If I had probably started earlier I would have had the same result."

Bo, he didnt, cause if he did his style & strategy would've been different. Margo just fought the way he knows how to fight.

What makes Shane statement "if I had probably started earlier I would have had same result" so stupid is that most people felt including me that Shane won rounds 2 and 3, so obviously he started well, but Cotto ate so many of those middle rounds that Shane little rally in rounds 10 and 12 was not enough and Cotto punches were having an effect on him they were'nt on Margo.

In theory Mosley might be right...
But there is no way Shane could have pulled it off
    the way Margarito did.

If Mosley really believes that, he only highlights further his true ignorance in understanding the right gamplan to have given Cotto trouble in the first place. Cotto has exhibited a potential aversion to pressure tactics and being walked down throughout his career. There were alot of people who were screaming at their TV's and in the crowd at MSG, literally, for Mosley to jump on him from the very beginning. Mosley fought an incredibly stupid fight against Cotto, and he continues to make himself look stupid to even say this. Margarito's style is and always has been to walk a retreating opponent down with constant pressure.

Well one thing we know is for sure, if Shane ever fights Cotto again, he's gonna be studying Margo
