Sorry, bro, doesn't work that way.

You get the quotes and the sourcing, then we'll talk. I have mine. Heresay means jack sh*t.

Cotto was hurt, and Mosley said he thought he won. That's what we know right now, from the fighters themselves.

For anyone who doesn't get it,

, to counter this bullsh*t "spin." This is a big problem with the sport.

I knew what the Cotto 'huggers would say, and I wanted to get the truth out there, from the fighters themselves.

You don't have to believe me, believe them.

Great fight, and if this is Mosley's last fight, he can leave knowing he went out on a win.

Props to both fighters. Cotto fought a hell of a fight.

Yeah, but everyone knew that going into the fight, SSM was past his best. But these are the fights that Cotto will learn more from. As you said yourself, Cotto will get better, but surely Mosley deserves another crack? By all accounts he gave him his toughest test to date. If it was a gift decision and Cotto dosen't rematch, then it can only be a black eye for the sport.

Mosley -- HUGE props for beating Cotto in NYC with the pro-Cotto fans.

    You are the man.

Double props for showing class after the judges took it from you. That is a man, folks. Classy when he's wronged.

Yes it was a close fight and SSM gave a great effort but he fell just behind in the points. The first 4 were even, the next four favored Cotto, and three of the last four were for Shane. The difference being the 11th round:good

As for what Mosley said? He didnt say he thought he lost but did say at one point in the interview, that Cotto beat him. Then saying Miguel's next step is his decision but he would like a rematch.

This was a great fight and great effort from both men. Mosley's not done by any means he's still a viable threat. SSM vs Margarito could catapult the winner back in the picture as Willams vs Cintron happens in Feb.08.

For Cotto and the boxing world, if floyd does what he's favored to do versus Hatton? That is clearly the biggest fight out and a major money maker:yep

So you can see where they are coming from with a Draw, but in terms of one more point being a win, you state in another thread that Mosley was jipped. So the difference between jipped and reasonable is one point? Laughable.

With the same poor judging, he would.

And he's not getting any younger.

I thought Cotto edged it by 1 point. Mosley got tagged more than I've seen him get hit before, his reflexes and handspeed were diminished.

The judging was poor for the Santa-Cruz fight, I thought it was acceptable for the Mosley-Cotto fight.

No problem, I respect your opinion.

I have never seen Mosley take shots like that. I just felt he was the aggressor and he controlled the tempo of the fight. He also out-threw Cotto and had the younger man on the bike for the last four rounds.

    Nice post. :good:thumbsup:good

Well, I just watched it and scored it a draw. Great fight, some of those rounds were very tough to score. I can see how Shane thinks he won, but I dont consider that a robbery. I was very surprised at Cotto in the 12th, it looked like he thought he had the fight in the bag and just moved around the whole time. This is a fight that I will definitely watch again soon, to see if I score it any differently.
