Mosley recently tells Dan Rafael of ESPN.com that he is not willing to have a rematch with Cotto in New York again. "I won't be flying into New York if there's a rematch," said Mosley to ESPN, adding: "They'll be coming to Las Vegas or Los Angeles. He can fight in New York in June, but it won't be with me. This time, it will have to be on the West side. But I definitely want to fight Cotto again."

Shane should think about his health and not get caught up in the hype over the Margo fight. Cotto damaged him in that fight, Shane had blood coming out of his ears after the fight it was painful to see.

Cotto was the one hurt in that fight, not Shane. Cotto beat him with a great jab, and he ran in the last rounds.

Alot of people forget how close the Cotto Mosley fight really was. Shane has a good chance of winning the rematch.

This fight should still be held in NYC.

cotto was the champ the first time and he got to fight in front of his fans in NYC. mosley is the champ now and he should get to call the shots IMO...if he wants a west coast fight, it should be just that.

    It wasn't close.

Cotto ran in the last few rounds because he was so far ahead.

Watch how many flush head punches Shane took in that fight; Cotto just beat him up with his left hand in the first few rounds. 37 year olds who have had hard careers shouldn't take those sort of matches imo. Then I am a fan of Shane and dont want him to end up like Holyfield.

    Yes . . . why not?

Mosley didn't complain about team Cotto chosing New York the first time. And besides Cotto needs the rematch more than Mosley now.

If you guys haven't seen that fight since it was live- re-watch it. The last few rds, with Cotto not engaging can create the impression that was a close fight, it wasn't. And even if he was dominating at the end, which he really wasn't in any meanigful sense, it doesn't take away from the beating he took for most of the fight. Good fighters close to 40 can't beat good fighters close to 30. Shane will get killed in a rematch and probably stoppped.

It was close, Cotto won by two points on two of the judges scorecards.

Unless its in Vegas it might not be a full crowd if in West. Cotto can fight a broomstick in NYC and it will sell out. Mosley doesn't have the same fan support as Cotto. The fight should be where you can have the nicest crowd. Mosley's last fight did well because it was two LA fighters (One being Mexican) fighting near East LA.

Don't know what fight you were watching. Cotto certainly didn't dominate, and i am a Cotto fan.

Not all the rounds are hotly contested and action packed but the scorecards were close.
