Cotto fans are all promoters now. Who the **** cares where it will be more packed? We have already seen them fight in MSG. Now they should fight somewhere else, especially since Shane is the champ now. Is this too hard of a concept to understand?

You don't see NFL and NBA teams say "We'll just play both games at our stadium since we have a bigger fan base." In your mind, just because he happens to be Puerto Rican with a huge NYC following, he should always fight at home, regardless of who is the champ...

You sound like Bob ****ing Arum. Do what's right. Fight out West somewhere. They'll get plenty of money from PPV regardless of where they fight.

The fight should definitely be in NY where it will sell out and have a spirited crowd in attendance. Mosley may be the "champ" but he has very little drawing power, even out West. Therefore, he's in no position of power. It make no sense what so ever to have the fight on the West coast when it'll do a fraction of the business it does in NY. Also Cotto already has a W over Shane, so it's not exactly like Shane would be doing Top Rank a favor by taking the fight. If anything, you could argue it's the other way around. Shane saying he wants the fight out West, leads me to believe he doesn't think he'll get a fair shake on the cards on the East coast, and doesn't feel confident about scoring a knockout. Which is odd considering the outcomes of both fighters most recent fights.

He is the Champion. The Fight happens were he says it Happens. Cotto wont care he just wants his belt back. He will get it back if shane fight like he fought margarito.

This is a bunch of fanboy bull**** and you know it.

You can't justify them fighting in NY twice just because one guy has more fans. I swear, you Cotto fans are starting to act like you don't think your boy can win outside of MSG.

Cotto got the UD over Shane. Hardly a dominant fight on his home turf. Since that fight, Shane has KO Mayorga and ****ing destroyed Margarito. Since then Cotto was hammered into submission by the same Margarito. Shane is now the man at 147, especially compared to Cotto, who hasn't proven **** except that he still has a bunch of delusional fans.

If Cotto truly thinks he's the better fighter, he should fight him somewhere other than "home court" like Shane did for him. Period.

Did you turn off the fight in the 9th? Cause Shane took the championship rounds on my card - that was a close fight with Cotto looking way more gassed at the end than Mosley.

It also remains to be seen how Cotto has handled the damage from the Margrito fight.

Makse sense to me. If Cotto won the first fight, and actually gives Mosley the rematch, Shane should be grateful and fight at a place of Cotto's choosing.

Cotto doesn't need to fight the man who knocked the guy who knock him out ??? WTF!

If Cotto really wants to get back at the top . . . he needs Berto, Clottey and more . . . Mosley.

Fanboy? Coming from one of the most immature posters on the board, I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Cotto vs. Mosley in NY does much bigger business than anywhere else in the US. Vegas is taking a hard hit due to the state of the economy, and Mosley can't even sell 4,000 tickets in California. It makes no sense to schedule that fight on the West coast in front of a meager crowd, when in NYC it'll be in front of a full house with an electric atmosphere.

Bottom line, on the East coast, Cotto vs. Mosley II is a big event. On the west coast, it's just another fight.

Irrelevant. Cotto got the win regardless. Close, but clear.

The "same" Margarito who since has been exposed as possible cheat? Regardless, triangular theories mean very little in Boxing.

He hasn't proven **** at 147, yet he has a win over the "man" who you speak so highly of. Hilarious. How easily they forget.

Home court? As Mike Tyson once so eloquently put it...**** it, it's a fight. What's going to happen is going to happen. Fans can't fight for neither of them, and corrupt/incompetent judges are rampant throughout the world.

Well, all depends. He has the belt that used to belong to Cotto. But he lost and wants a rematch. So all depends whats on Cotto's mind. Does he want that belt back???? The money will be good not matter where the fight is. Would Cotto say I fight you anywhere???? Or may be he will say: "I will give you the rematch in NY" or "I will give you the rematch in PR". I am sure they can fix something. And Cotto is going to hold a belt too after Saturday. So it would be an unification fight

if Mosley fights like he did against Margo, Cotto gets starched in the rematch...and if Cotto wants it he'll have to go to the desert, Shane ain't fighting in NY being the champ...
