    It doensw't make sense.

1 = NY & MSG isn't Cotto's home. Its just that NY loves Cotto as a fighter & NY has a strong PR fan base/population.

2 = Cotto doesn't care where he fights, and who he's fighting, as long as he & his opponentare given equal opportunities. Cotto is willing to fight basically anywhere if all the terms & money is right.

3 = Cotto has some say so too. He needs SSM, but SSM needs him too. If the fight doesn't happen, SSM will take the bigger loss.

4 = Money wise, this fight makes the most sense in NY. Vegas would be okay, but NY would be smarter financailly. MSG will sell out to see this fight. @ Staples, it'll just do decent. If Mosley wants good money, he would go to MSG.

I agree with CPN, A Maxx, P4PDB, and others - this fight does make more monetary sense in New York at MSG. That's the strongest argument period. I voted the other way, however, and my reasons for that go beyond the short term profits of TR, GBP, Mosley, and Cotto - all of them swimming in cash as it is already.

The questions of who deserves what between Shane and Miguel also isn't high on my list either.

THE FIGHT WILL NOT HAPPEN IF TEAM COTTO AND/OR TOP RANK REFUSE TO GO WEST - that's the main thing. REALITY is a problem.

Also, Shane Mosley is in the Manny Pacquiao Super Sweepstakes; he's been named directly by Freddie Roach as Manny's next potential opponent should they get past Hatton. Does Cotto want to possibly take that slot by beating Mosley again this summer?.... That's up to him.

So would I, MSG is pure electricity for a Cotto fight. Too bad the fight WON'T HAPPEN in New York, eh? Shane Mosley seems to be making it pretty clear. So would you rather have NO FIGHT or a fight in Las Vegas or Los Angeles?

ITs simple really... just watch the fight. Every single time Cotto throws a jab the crowd went nuts, that has an effect on the judges whether you want to believe it or not.

If the fight was in LV you wouldn't have a vast majority of the crowd for either fighter.

Btw, I would pick Mosley in Rematch, I had the first fight a draw and Mosley with Nazim Richardson in a more neutral location seems like the logical choice to me.

Cotto will beat Mosely again. He won and should have the fight in New York or Puerto Rico.
