We're quick to forget about the last few years and fights after one great performance from Shane.

If you look at Shanes recent fights, losing to Cotto, for parts even being outboxed by Mayorga!, you see he's an old guy who's way past his best. He's now older than he was when he last to Cotto last time. Either he has gotten better in his late 30's, or Margarito was a style that was tailor made for him (ableit one that not many picked) - I know which seems more liekly to me.

But Mosley hasn't taken a beating, and Cotto has. Styles make fights and that is why he didn't look great against Mayorga. If you look at Shane's last 6 fights you'll see that he has been doing quite well. He has 2 tko's over Vargas (one by brutal ko) a one sided whooping over a very good collazo, a close loss to Cotto, a ko victory over former champ Mayorga, and a brutal beatdown over Margarito. Sounds like a great string of performances.

Shane wins the rematch with Nazim in his corner.

i'm undecided, you can make a case for either place honestly.....Mosley's the champ so he should get to choose

but Cotto already beat him, and he's the one giving Mosley the rematch, plus Mosley's not a big draw, so whats the point of a hometown crowd?

either way it goes, it'll work for me though,, i'd just love to see the fight again

Well, judging from what Mosley indicated about the "gameplan" he claimed Margarito borrowed from him in fighting Cotto; it seems pretty clear that someone intends to be far more aggressive in the rematch, and I ain't talkin about Cotto. :yep

Mosley is the champion, if he wants it in La instead of New York then that is fine by me.

Everyone outside of LA should take notes from someone who lives in LA, me. MOSLEY is not a big draw or likeable dude out here. No one dislikes him, but no one is crazy over him. AM had more respect and props than SSM out here, ppl out here were booing SSM
