So you didn't think Manny had power before last night? Furthermore if he was so powerful and so strong, how come he hasn't finished anyone since I guess Hatton? Clottey, ODLH (quit), Cotto (stopped but was hardly "finished"), Margo, SSM...I mean why weren't these guys knocked out? Look I'm not shitting on the man, he's a beast and a great fighter, but to act as if you learned that Pac had this tremendous unGodly power last night seems like a bit of an overstatement. I'm astonished that you would say after watching that fight last night that you believe Manny has a greater chance against PBF, but to each their own.

    Pac-Mayweather is far from reality.

No it would take someone who can box, who's not shot to ****, and actually possesses a dynamic skill set themselves. Who? I would begin with PBF simply because it's most logical. The man threw 250 more punches than PBF did and literally landed 16 more punches against SSM...think about that for a second, let it sink in...16 more, a little over 1 more per round than what PBF did, just saying.

Im 100% sure that Pacquiao vs Mayweather will never happend. We didnt saw a 100% Manny we saw a Manny without any legs. And still he stalked Mosley like I never seen before. I was so supriced I never seen Mosley like this way before he was really affraid.

with the exception of Mosley, if you think they're easy-money fights, then you're an idiot

I said this on the other thread, but I'd like to repeat it here:

The fight last night highlighted 3 things in favor of Pac:
    1. Pac has a granite chin. He took flush shots from Mosley early on and brushed it off.
    2. Pac's hand speed and power is no myth. Shane felt it and respected it the entire match.
    3. Pac can play the "chase" match as well. He doesn't look good as he does against aggressive foes, but he still completely overwhemls his opponent (outside of the bs KD call in favor of Mosley, he Shane didn't win a round). As cliche as it may sound, but his overwhelming offense is indeed his best defense (notice the shockingly awful punch output of Mosley -- both landed and thrown)

It also highlights three of Pac's flaws:
    1. Pac can't throw a combination with more than 3 puches in it when his opponent is consistently turning him.
    2. He needs to learn to cut the ring. (we saw this from the Cotto fight as well)
    3. He gets bored (and stupid) easily. He wanted and egged Shane to engage (dropping his guard even to signal "c'mon" to Shane) and confessed later that he wanted to test Shane's power (so you want another bloody ear like what Cotto gave you?).

Therein is the problem. 'Landing on Mayweather' is not as easy as it sounds. Certainly a lot harder than landing on Shane Mosley, who's head movement has always been poor.

Pulling the trigger... Seen that with Oscar before too. Actually Oscar started great and on fire the first two rounds, but after tasting plenty of leather, he suddenly could not pull the trigger anymore. Pac probably has that effect on his opponents. Though both Shane and Oscar are way pat it.

    Manny would KO Floyd.

    I'm certain about it.

being shot has nothing to do with taking a powershot. Mosley's chin just didn't explode because he lost to Floyd and Mora.

Mosley took a Manny Pacquiao Left Hand and got up and survived the rest of the night in survival mode. He can always tell his kids that he got UP from a Manny left and finished the fight.:yep
