"He's not going to be the same Mayweather, when you see him potshoting these guys. He wont be able to potshot me like that. I'm actually longer than him, taller than him. He won't be able to potshot me like that. I have longer arms. It's not going to work. I don't think he realizes that. He's had so much success fighting these little guys when he's been able to sit back and potshot them that he doesn't realize that I'm just as fast as him, just as slick as him and can outbox him too. I'm not even going by the power because that's just the icing on the cake. I'm going to beat him at his game."

hes not as fast as him at this point in time and he was never as slick defensively as mayweather, never

But I like that he isnt planning on power winning him the fight, if he tries to box with mayweather and use his speed it could be a very interesting fight, I cant wait

I know it is the norm for fighters to talk themselves up but SS is slightly slower, no where near as slick and most likely can't outbox Mayweather.

He is perhaps underrated in that aspect but I don't know if he has enough to match Mayweather at this stage.

I seriously hope this isn't his gameplan.

Please, please, please tell me Shane is just throwing a red herring at Floyd. Because he couldn't outbox Floyd on his absolute best night.

Shane does have the reach advantage. He should capitalize on this and fight tall. His jab will be a good weapon against Floyd.

I doubt it is. All of this talk is part of the fight, really. It's noteworthy how often the fighters don't do what they say they're going to do. People looking at it from the outside assume that Shane's going to make this a nasty war, in order to not play to Mayweather's strengths. Mayweather's probably preparing for that, so Shane puts this out there to throw some doubt on the equation.

i mean it souds good, im glad mayweather is fighting him.it should be a great fight, shane maybe not as quick but he still fast.if he can punch in flurries and outwork mayweather that would be great.shane should at least be able to make mayweathers punch output to go up, which means he will make mayweather fight ! fight to not only win but to not get koed.

shane gone be on his ass, so mayweather gone fight smart and at his very best.he always talks about beating fighters at his c game, never using or needing his a game.
from a fans point of view, id like to see shane bring out this a game.i just want to see how good mayweather is.you know his defence gone be on point for that fight but what them hands.

may 1st is so long away, i hate heaing about the mega fights so long away.

Shane has a lazy jab and would countered over it all night.

He sounds confident, but Mosley doesnt have the jab or counterpunching ability to do this. Long arms dont make a jab effective, timing accuracy and speed does. Mosley wont fight like this he has a better chance imposing his will and fighting an aggressive fight
