Follow me on this one... There were a couple of significant events preceding the Pacquiao Mosley fight. #1. Shane split from Golden Boy to make this fight happen. #2. Bob Arum took his goods to Showtime for the Mosley fight. I'm a Pacquiao fan but to say that Shane "couldn't pull the trigger" is an understatement. Manny didn't get the Mosley that fought Margarito or even the one who fought Floyd. Is it "possible" that Shane is looking to get "in bed" with Manny and try to earn a piece of the promotional pie that would be a zillion dollar SuperFight with Floyd? Shane was overly complimentary of Manny's speed, power and ability. Much more so than he was of Mayweather. I see that as posturing and potential "egging on" to try to get Floyd in the ring. I won't say that the fight was fixed but is it out of the question to think that Mosley took a fight he knew he would lose to help make the fight we all want to see? After all, the opinions of common opponents should weigh heavy on boxing pundits AND on Floyd Mayweather himself. What I'm saying is don't be surprised to see some promotional shake-ups and some strange bedfellows as we move towards the dream matchup.
No, at least as far as all that conspiracy bull**** you said. But as far as being instrumental, I agree in the sense that I think Mayweather will gain the confidence that he can beat Pac on the outside due to Pac's performance against Mosley who is not in the same class as Mayweather as an outside counterpuncher.
The only one Shane is getting in bed with is that smoking hot girl he's banging. :smoke It was an instrumental fight, but not because of any conspiracy. Unfortunately for Shane, it will be about who whooped him better. That's like pouring gas on a fire and hopefully it edges towards the Superfight everybody wants to see. That or Floyd will be Floyd and say he beat Shane better so he doesn't have to fight Pac. :hop
Void has decided to stay away from Pac always. Void knows Pac will beat him, Void is sure of it. If Void is so good,then why doesn't he fight Pac? Even Void's fans do not want Void to fight Pac. Void is void..............
