Mosley is a harder fight for Pac than Floyd!

If you rank Mosley above Floyd at Welter then you should rank him above Floyd in the p4p list too, since they are both the same size.

 

Mosley is far too liable defensively. It would be a tougher fight physically, but a much easier one to win. If Cotto out jabbed and timed Mosley with a variety of shots all fight Manny would hit him frequently and fairly easily, unlike Cotto his movement would help negate Mosley's offence. Mosley hit Cotto with a lot of shots, power connect % of 50 if i remember correctly and Cotto took it fairly well. Manny looks to have better punch resistance than Cotto at 147 pounds so i think he would be able to take enough of Mosley's shots to weather the storm.

It would be a barn burner but Mosley is too old to win it i think.

 

Shane would beat Pac his punches are brutal Force he hits harder then cotto. Did you see the destruction of the Machine Margarito?

p4p is mythical and based on achievements and ability. Shane has put in th work and proved what he can do at welter. Pac and Floyd are no comparison to a Winky or Forrest.

It's plausible that Mayweather could completely end up shutting out Pacquaio. I couldn't see Shane Mosley doing that at this stage. He doesn't have the style for it. There's a chance he could knock Pacquiao out, but on the same note I could see Mayweather knocking Pacquaio out late in a fight too. I'd have to give the advantage to Mayweather.

 

Thats about as possible as Michael Spinks shutting out Mike Tyson.

 

shane mosley is def the harder fight for pac. pac cant hurt him and shane is just as fast and more power. why is evrybody saying shane is too old he did not look old in his last fight or training videos i've seen him in you guys need to have more faith in him and manny would eat alot of shots before getting close to shane

 

Floyd's defense is what will give Pac the most problems. Mosley is old and his defense is no where near floyds. He pulled off a great win against Margo but how many great performances does he have left in him?


Pac will have a harder time landing on PBF and there are also less doubts about PBF being able to perform at his peak because he is much younger.

 

He looked old in the fight just a few months before the Margo fight. And dont make the mistake of saying Pac cant hurt shane, he has shown he can hurt anyone if he lands enough.

Nazeem makes the fight interesting though because he has the right strategy in mind and knows better than to brawl with Pac.
