Floyd didn't choose to stop Marquez by choice ... the difference in Marquez and Mosley is that Mayweather faces different criticisms for facing and defeating Mosley than he did against Marquez.

 In the 24/7 he's telling old poppa crackhead Sr ''You know we can't let this boy standing.'' about Marquez and he gets 2 less knockdowns than Pacquiao did all the way back at super featherweight in 2004 in their first match and now he chose not to knock Marquez out. Out of the kindness of his heart? Out of the kind of respect it would take to make his own catchweight? You know, when I first got to ESB, I couldn't understand why so many posters were running down Floyd fans or Pacquiao fans. It didn't make sense to me but it's been a while and now I see. Fans of both of these fighters are out of their goddamn minds half the time. Pacquiao would dominate Erdei at CRUISWERWEIGHT, Mayweather simply chose not to stop Marquez...No wonder a proposed fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao caused the entire forum to drop 50 IQ points FFS.

Shane was mostly confused against Oscar at the MGM Garden Arena in the first half of the fight and that's cause Shane let Oscar dictate the pace with his left lead jab ( some 33 jabs landed against 5 in the first 3 stanzas or something) and Shane was all looking to hurt Hoya with that left hook he threw in the first and put Oscar off stride... And that's exacty what Floyd won't do - dictate the pace and run into risk of getting counter hit with power shots. Mayweather is all about hitting flush, pot shotting and getting out and that's why he has bigger chances - he has legs while Shane remains sometimes stationary and looking for the one shot. "so he has a better chance than past Floyd opponents but at the end of the day Floyd will be better" :nut. Shane will dig in a most hurtful right bomb on Floyd's body when he starts to roll away just like he did against Hoya down the stretch in 2003 and that's why he really won that fight "controversially".

Yet again, you prove yourself to be the most ******ed moron on this site.

Mayweather couldn't stop a fat lightweight despite landing hundreds of clean shots, yet he is now going to stop the strongest, most resilient welterweight in the world??

I agree that Floyd will win, but yet again you are hugging his ****ing nuts to bits and talking bollocks.

It doesn't matter if Floyd went out all for the KO vs Marquez or not, his intentions are irrelevant, the FACT is that Floyd landed HUNDREDS of clean punches, and did not KO Marquez.

If someone with some power like Pac or Mosley had landed the same amount of clean punches, Marquez would have been laid out. That proves Floyd does not have the power to put someone like Mosley away.

I don't know if this is breaking news or not. But Floyd Mayweather Jr. missed the his part of the deadline yesterday by not signing the contract yesterday. The question is why did he not sign the contract? Is this fight still going to happen? Unfortunately my ability to start a thread is disabled so I can't get this out for discussion. But according to this story he was supposed to sign yesterday, but has of this morning still no signature. The media should be on the phone with Ellerbe to see what the hold up is. Mayweather is getting cold feet people!! Incredible

I think Mayweather will win a clear decision but it won't be easy. 5 losses? but against who? He fought the top guys in their respective weight divisions. No shame in losing but he was always competitive. Floyd doesn't have the guts to fight all the top guys otherwise he might have a few L's on his record too.

    Floyd ain't stopping ****.
