Mosley is not old or shot. Mayweather is just better.

No matter what anyone says. This was a good win for Floyd, but the fact is Mosley is 39 this year. You can be tired of reading threads that Mosley is old, but he is old. The only thing which got Mosley this fight and made him look great was Margarito. Before that Cotto beat him and then Wright two times and Vernon twice. A good win for Mayweather, but couldn't we all see this was going to happen?

 

mayweather did very well, i definitely give due props to him. but i disagree with your statement that mosley is "not shot and old".

 

Yeah, 2 fights lost in the last 5 years, one against Cotto which many thought was a draw, and losing a decision to PBF, where he rocked PBF and took a couple of rounds = shot.:rofl:rofl:rofl

 

A good win for Mayweather, but if you watched the fight, Mosely is shot.

He looked good, true, but then again roy Jones looked good against Green and Hopkins.

Sometimes when a fighter goes, it their legs, or their chin. Sometime they lose the ability to pull the trigger.

Mosley wouldn't pull the trigger, and his footwork was awful. And I disagree about his handspeed, he looked slower against margarito, and even slower today.

Right now Berto would beat him up, and Mayweather would humiliate Berto.

mosley of coure is old, no one should dispute this. as for shot, i really don't know. he gassed out early but was ok in the first 2 rounds. you can say floyd did his part in making mosley look his real age.

When a fighter is 38 and loses comfortably, people always say he is shot. People said the same about SSM's loss to Cotto when he was 35-36 and then he beats Margarito would beat Cotto.

It's a convenient way for haters to downplay PBF's win.

 

Mosley has been very mediocre since his first fight with De La Hoya. Boring to watch and spends too much time 'jerking' as the Mayweathers would call it. Pawing with the jab, waiting for the big shot....ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Mayweather would have beat him anytime and is clearly the better boxer.
