Mosley is not old or shot. Mayweather is just better.

Mosely did not look shot in his last fight. Here's the think. Aging champions tend to have trouble vs much younger and faster champions.

I think Mosely's next fight will either confirm or rebunk if he is " shot ".

I tend to view Mosely as past his prime, but still dangerous and worthy of a top 5 spot at welter.

Lets be real. He was gassing at the end of round 2. This isnt normal, and especially not for SS.

All credit to PBF for staying up in the 2nd - but after then you could have stuck Roger in there and he would have won.

He's not completely shot but very soon will, he's definetely not on the same level like he was during de la hoya's fight where he was pressed hard in first 6 rounds yet could win the next half of the fight. He looks so tired here even though Mayweather never preasured him like de la hoya's did. De la hoya landed lots of powerfull punches in both fight and Mosley still look fast in the last 6 rounds.

It's simply old age syndrom, his speed has been deteriorated greatly.

Great win by PBF, but you can't change the date on Mosley's birth certificate he is definately old. That should not take away from Floyd's win though he is definately tactically a class above.

But for the Floyd fanboys he didnt tire it was Mayweather that adapted i guess they only see what they want to see.

Dela Hoya fared well than Shane Mosley against Floyd. It's with no doubt that Shane is old and shot.

Of course Mosley is old in boxing terms. That is a fact. He's 39 this year.

Is Mosley shot? Not quite. Mayweather made him look shot.

But Mosley is obviously WAY PAST HIS BEST.

The 2nd round gives us an idea what Mosley would have done to Mayweather 10 years ago

This fight played out exactly the way most people not blinded by pure hate or pure man love for either fighter thought it would.

Nobody at 38 is anywhere near their best. especially in the lighter weight classes where speed and stamina are crucial.

Mosleys key asset has been speed. He's probably still got that edge against guys like Margo that are slow and straight ahead, but any younger guys with any sort of speed and mobility are going to be too much for him.

TS You can't deny that Shane is already old and past his best.

I give alot of credit to Mayweather for attacking in this fight. He actually tried to make it interesting. But I can't help but think that in the second round when Mosley had him almost out, he couldn't finish him and let him go. He was sucking up for air after that. He looked like he got old right then and there. Im sorry to say but if it was someone like Pacquiao, Mayweather would have been in real trouble.

I just finished watching the fight. I turned the volume off... and here is what I saw.

I saw Mosley force the action. I saw Mayweather throw punches when he had to. I saw a lot of missing.

Only a few rounds were decisively won IMO... but the judges gave all of the non-decisive rounds to Mayweather. Non-decisive translates to "could have went either way" to me, how about you? Also, most of the rounds were non-decisive IMO.

Mosley clearly won the first two rounds IMO (the 2nd without a doubt), can we agree on that?

Mayweather clearly won rounds 10 and 11.

Rounds 3,6, and 7 were close. Did Mayweather really clearly win all of these rounds? Can a case be made for Mosley in any of these rounds? How about a 10-10 round? I think Mosley did well in these rounds.

Not much happened in rounds 4,5,8,9, and 12... nobody had the upper hand IMO. Why give Mayweather all of these rounds? Did he clearly win them? Is there no justification for a 10-9 round for Mosley in any of these rounds? How about a 10-10 round?

Don't get it twisted!!! I'm not saying Mayweather didn't deserve the win.

I read about how Mayweather dominated Mosley and put on an awesome boxing clinic. I even read that Mayweather almost had Mosley out late in the fight. I didn't see that at all.

What does a fighter have to do to win a round vs. Mayweather? I feel like the scorecards in a Mayweather fight are on autopilot sometimes. 119-109, really?

I know many will call me crazy, or worse... whatever! I never said I thought Mosley won. I just think it was closer than 119-109 or even 118-110. I just want to know why all of the close rounds or rounds where barely anything happens always end up 10-9 for Mayweather, why?:bart
