It's kinda' Hilarious how people title a thread to give the assumption that it's about "one" fighter, but it magically turns into a Floyd Hating Thread. I have never seen so many people who have a hatred of a Athlete/Fighter, spend so much time talking about and/or knowing every part of "that fighter's" lives....OBSESSED MUCH????

Damn, where do I begin? Well unlike the vast majority of ESB posters, I guess I'll start at this place called LOGIC with the attempt to end somewhere around COMMON SENSE. Which means already within this post, some posters are like...HUH:huh?

Oh Well...Let's start with these posters and their "tunnel vision" (I'll get back with term later) that somehow this recent fight (draw vs Mora) tarnishes Floyd Mayweather's victory of Shane Mosley. Here is what we (real fight fans) know...Mora vs Mosley was at a weight of 154lbs, Yet Mora can't make the weight, and although I never saw an official fight night weight for Mora, it would be safe to assume that he came in the ring at Middleweight or BEYOND. And yet the taller, bigger Mora spent 8 of the 12 rounds running/fight backwards & staying away from an Old & Shot Mosley (so you guys call him). Yet Mayweather and guys like Wright and Forrest stood "in the pocket" and beat Mosley CONVINCINGLY!!!! Although Floyd beat an older version of Mosley but the way in which he did so was far more impressive than the running, holding and hugging of the "LATIN SNAKE"....MORE LIKE THE "LATIN SNUGGIE".

Ok, Back to the term "TUNNEL VISION". It's just plain sad how these posters have NO problem with trying to find way and reason to HATE 'ON of fight they never intended on giving any credit to in the first place. And they believe that Floyd's victory has "taken hits" (as one poster eloquently put it) and a handful of others believe that Floyd's win was tarnished because of how poorly Mosley looked versus Mora. Yet their in-ability or "Selective Memory" or even their SOFT PORN NUTHUGGING AND BALL-LICKING of Manny Pacquiao...ie (TUNNEL VISION) won't allow to see how much of a "hit" or how it "tarnishes" Team Pacquiao for the Obvious DUCK of this so-called OLD & SHOT FIGHTER. Does anyone re-call this at 7:30:

So Freddie Roach comes up with these ridiculous weight demands before refusing to fight an OLD & SHOT fighter...Yet the fighter that these posters believe has "taken the hit" is FLOYD MAYWEATHER? TUNNEL VISION AT IT'S FINEST!!! One posters even says that Mosley's victory over Margarito was an anomaly...:-(!!! Margarito is a Offensive Fighter's WET-DREAM. Big, Tall fighter who never uses his height, slow as peanut butter rolling down-hill, NO DEFENSE and throws these wide looping punches. So if an OLD & SHOT Mosley destroys him...Imagine a Younger, Faster, Southpaw with POP...Oh yeah, did I mention...ANOTHER CATCHWEIGHT:think

So the question is...Why is one fighter's resume "taking the hit" who fought and beat Mosley easily, yet the other fighter takes "NO HITS" after places these ridiculous weight demands before ultimately refusing to fight the OLD & SHOT FIGHTER...TWICE.

Oh well, like I said. I'll start with Logic and end with Common Sense. As the old saying goes: "COMMON SENSE, LOGIC AND FACTS, ONLY CONFUSES THOSE, WHO HAVE NO CLUE".

Don't forget how awful he looked against Mayorga in 2008. Beating Margarito was his Indian summer. He hasn't been a p4p fighter for years but one win concealed it. He's still good mind you but can't hang with the top guys anymore.

compare the lightweight mosely to todays mosely and i think everyone will agree he is shot. he looked shot against mayweather and i heard he looked shot against mora. light guys who rely on speed and reflexes will be shot by the time they are 38. thats a fact and mosely is shot. you can see that in the mayweather fight by the way he just ciouldnt throw punches. thats the sign of a shot fighter. he was superb, one of the best of his generation, now he is mediocre at best. thus he is shot.

 

Having just watched Oscar vs Mosley I, I have to say that dude isn't even in the rear view mirror anymore. Mosley is done at the elite level.

 

Oscar was done at the "elite level"(whatever that means) when he fought Manny.....even moreso.

It does, *****s argued that Mayweather's skill and style made Mosley look old and that was what made him gas out in the 3rd round. Not the case, as even vs a fighter like Mora, Old shame Mosley lost and from all accounts was largely unimpressive. So this makes the Gayweather win over old man Mosley look largely irrelevant, like so many were saying that it was. Floyd barely lost to old, past his prime, shot Mosley in the 2nd. Then he dragged things on for 12 rounds... :nut

So what's that supposed to say exactly? Mosley still lost according to like 65% of ESBs posters. Mora isn't exactly an elite fighter like Pac... Hell, I can't even find him in any weight class top 10... So what was your point exactly, because he didn't throw himself like a bull at old Shane it means Shane is still at his top? Prime? Still a great fighter today? :nut :rofl

Do you even realize what you've just said? :tired The fact that he was facing OLD MAN MOSLEY, which you even acquiesced in the same sentence, means that Gayweather didn't face the same fighters as the others. He fought an old, past his prime version, so of course it's much easier to look impressive than facing the prime Mosley. :nut But since Mosley is largely shot, it doesn't ****ing mean anything.

And the biggest thing is that Gayweather didn't look impressive in the least against Mosley. He almost got KO'd in the 2nd round, then couldn't even finish off Mosley when he ran out of juice in the 3rd ****ing round, had to drag things out for 12 rounds, in an utterly boring fight.

Manny fought Oscar at 147 because he knew that Oscar could easily be defeated at that weight. Vs Mosley, as he said, Mosley is better than Oscar, so why give Mosley the advantage? He offered Mosley the chance to fight Pac, who was coming from 130lbs, the opportunity to fight him at 142-143, and Mosley wasn't interested. Why is it a ridiculous demand? Like he said, Roach/Pac weren't interested in fighting vs Mosley at 147 for his title. How's that for tunnel vision? Because he took a fight vs Cotto for twice the money and didn't want to go up weight to fight vs Mosley he's ducking Mosley? Stupid ***** ****** talking about tunnel vision...
