I'm not a cotto fan, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't the same fighter after the loss to Marg. His chin got cracked before Pac got to him

 

Of course, a boxer will not be exactly the same boxer fighting different opponents. The time interval alone can already introduce some changes to that boxer, either he improved or degraded.

But it doesn't sound right hearing statements saying this so and so boxer isn't the same boxer who fought so and so. The changes in a boxer is only a minor factor. The biggest factor is, who he was facing in the opposite corner. Give credit to where its due.
