I agree with this but I don't think it's enough to warrant backing Mosley.

I suppose it could be interesting to see how Mayweather deals with a class boxer who can punch. I still see Mayweather cruising through most of the fight, though.

its true that he is years past his best but he is still at about 75-80% of his prime and currently
one of the best fighters in the sport. Even when Mosley fought Collazo, lost to Cotto and beat Mayorga I still had him hovering around the 10th spot of my p4p list.

Mosley is for real. Its just that stylistically its a poor matchup for him especially his style as he's gotten older where he sits on his punches even more than he used to. Floyd is gonna potshot his ass all night and Mosley's gonna be swinging in thin air.

A lot of people said Mosley was past it after he knocked out Mayorga, then he knocked out Margarito without his plaster hand wraps and all of a sudden he's one of the best in the business. Funny how things change. Whether he's past it or not, I think Mayweather will win by UD.

We all know Mosley is way past his best. Regardless, Floyd still gets credit for fighting him.. Afterall, he is finally fighting a legitimate ww

    Exactly,

So he is a coward if he doesn't fight him, yet since he is fighting him if he were to defeat him it shouldn't matter much.

I guess I can see the logic.

Mosley vs Clottey would be a hell of a good fight. I don't see Mosley knocking Clottey out and I don't see him dominating every round either. 8-4 type of fight with Mosley winning a clear decision.

Clottey is underrated his defense is ****ing awesome and his offensive is very technical. I would love to see that fight!

BTW this is not some post Pac nuthuggery bull****! If you look at my posts from late 2009 you'll see there were talks of Mosley vs Clottey and I gave Mosley some mad props

  9. I understand where you're going with it and I agree with you, but to be fair he'd be especially cowardly for ducking a washed up old man.

Mosley is past his best, but still the #3 P4P fighter. Period.

  11. You see this as Mosley being old instead of Mayweather being great. I see it as both.

I honestly think Clottey would beat Mosley. Mosley would leave a lot more openings between flurries for Clottey to score than a guy like Pacquiao or Margarito.

It would look like Cotto-Clottey except with Mosley throwing less than Cotto, and hopefully Clottey learning his lesson from the late-round collapse of sorts against Cotto.

I'm sorry but you can't sit here and say Margo is better scalp than Mosley when Mosley beat Margo senseless. Margo had no success against Mosley in that fight. That's like me saying Cotto is a better win than Pac because Cotto was drained in that fight and had a **** trainer. You cannot simply disregard what has already happened to suit your agenda. Now could the Margo win be fool's gold? It might be, we don't know. Regardless, what has Berto done that's so special? He really hasn't beaten anyone. He has no idea how to defend himself, his chin is suspect, and his power might be overrated. You're not going to find many objective fans, analysts or writer who would rate Berto over Mosley. Berto was a clear underdog in that fight. The same goes for Clottey.

    Mosley washed up. :rofl

    Floyd haters gotta love em.

guess what dope. Floyds gonna school Mosley wide, not because Mosley's washed up its because cant no fighter in the world today from 130-154 beat the man.

Maybe he should move up to his 6th weight class so someone would have a chance.

Why do you keep pumping Clottey up? We all seen him for the piece of **** fighter he is. You say Mosley is past his best years and Clottey has never had any best years and will never have none. You are a true ******* if i ever seen one.

  15. Precisely the kind of biased fan I was talking about.

I am not a Floyd hater. Floyd is one of my favorite boxers of all time. I'm just keeping things in perspective and don't allow bias to cloud my judgment.

If Mosley being outboxed for much of his fight against Mayorga isn't evidence enough for you, I don't know what to tell you.
