No its not. Mosley won't even have to wait to land his left hook. Kirkland is right there. Its target practice. Kirkland is a pressure fight, but he's not an awkward pressure fighter. Mosley kills pressure fighters. That's the way he wants you to fight him. Kirkland still looks very green and would get hit early and often with that left hook.
I'm sorry, I just had to laugh at this statement:rofl It took Shane 12 rounds to stop Mayorga. He couldnt stop Collazo or Estrada. But he could stop the much bigger Kirkland. atsch
Mosley himself gets hit way too much. Getting hit by someone with James power surely couldnt be good for you. Cotto hit him a ton of times. James would too. Only thing is I dont think anybody stops Shane. But a 12 round brutal fight he can lose.
Shane is a good puncher. It was possible landing the right shots which he finally figured out in that last round. Besides, when the last time Mayorga didnt meet a punch to the jaw he didnt like.
Mosley has an alltime great chin. He has fought the best of the best. Him getting hit isn't the issue, especially now that he has dumped his father. When Mosley gets hit, he comes back harder. The only guys that have given any real trouble are fighters that have great jabs. If you fight with him, you'll end up like Margarito.
When was the last time Margarito didn't meet a punch that he didn't like? The first time he seemingly felt pain was against Mosley. Mayorga was awkward for Shane. When Mosley decided to just fight him, he ko'd him.
i a gree completely that mosley would dominate kirkland, until he gave up an hes ***** anne4 wolfe, would throw in the towel. mosley is classes above kirklands level an always wil;l be
I'll take Mosley by UD...I know Kirkland is bigger but if thats your whole argument than I doubt Mosley would let that get to him...Kirkland is a good fighter but Shane will have the speed advantage and that will win him this fight IMO!
