The point is he's focused on what's the most important task. He's not too concerned about what others are doing because he's confident and secure. If Pac has any class which I believe he does, he'd focus on nothing but his election for now.
Pac was a better finisher in the lower weightclasses. His three fights at welterweight have all been stopped by the ref or the corner to keep their fighter from taking unnecessary punishment in a fight they could not win. He did not knock any of them out. They all finished the fight on their feet. Clottey he never hurt at all. DLH never went down. Cotto wasn't finished until 8 rounds after Pac had him hurt, after the ref decided Cotto wasn't doing enough to make it a fight. A GREAT finisher would not have let Cotto off the hook in the 4th, and Cotto was hurt a hell of a lot worse than Floyd was against Mosley. A great finisher would have put DLH down and out. Someone like a Tommy Hearns is what I would consider a great finisher. Valero was a very good finisher in that once he had a guy hurt the guy probably wasn't going to last much longer. There aren't a ton of top notch finishers in boxing. That's what makes the great ones great...they are rare.
I doubt that as a welterweight Pac hits harder than Mosley. They're probably about the same in the power category at this weight.
