reviving this thread since Mosley just came out with a new statement in tonight's short ESPN interview

and as for

uh yeah it is .. I've seen MANY fights that had the momentum shift completely because of one punch. keep in mind, it can win a fight

fighters getting hurt probably doesn't happen in EVERY fight .. but it's happened plenty a time.

im not missing the point .. I think your over valuing what Mosley's saying because in tonight's interview on ESPN Shane Mosley said that Margarito could have fought with the loaded gloves and it wouldn't have made a difference because Shane wasn't getting hit with anything anyway. seemingly not making a big deal of what Margarito brought to the table.


^ that's a far cry from the original quote on this topic where Mosley is saying Margarito has great power, stunned him etc.

and for the record I take most fight talk with a grain of salt ... because I find a lot of what fighters say (smack talk included) to be kind of hypocritical and or contradictory.
