Mosley is one of the toughest *******s in boxing today but there comes a time when even the toughest guy's get KTFO.

I think that this fight with Margarito is that fight for Mosley.

I just cannot see how Shane can win this fight and for the first time i think he could get stopped.

    Y'all sleepin on Shane.

He is no more prone to seeing stars than Margarito. Remember this: He is not as fast and powerful as Cotto, but he is about as conditioned. And he has a MUCH better chin. He is as sturdy as they get for 147s.

I doubt he knocks out Margo, but he ain't goin down either.

    Margo 115-113.

He's not as fast as Cotto?:huh I do agree, though, that Mosely is well conditioned. That's what EPO does.

It would be fantastic if Mosley could pull of an upset and cement his legacy, defeating a juggernaut like Margo, in his prime, at the top of the division, when Shane is in his late 30's would be a great achievement. It's not impossible, but it would take a completely different fighter than the one that showed up against Mayorga and even Cotto. He'd have to be able to put pride aside and use smarts, mobility and skill. He'd have to be willing to spoil and clinch and run at times. These aren't things Mosley has ever been known for, so I don't see him beating Margarito. At Mosley's age I don't think he can put up with the pressure, and he's not going to KO Antonio. It should be competitive for a while, but I see Marg sweeping the later rounds and winning a UD, hopefully not a stoppage. A Mosley win is possible, however, and I'll be rooting for him. I'm not even sure I want to watch this fight, as the possibility of Mosley getting really beaten up and stopped is pretty high, and he's my favorite active fighter.

Mosley is going to try and box, BTW. This is a smokescreen.

If this was 2000 i'd go with Mosley but at this stage of Mosley's career he is asking to get stopped by Margartio.

On a side note, do you really think Shane is as fast Cotto?

I was kind of just giving Cotto the benefit of the doubt. I mean, really what makes him so much lesser of an opponent than Cotto

And if so, this makes him an even liver opponent than people (including me) previously gave Margo credit for taking. I have to admit, the more I look at this fight, the more props I give Margo for taking it.

He will try to box though sooner or later he will be forced to fight back. Margo is good at luring his opponent into exchanges, partly because he is right in front of them to be hit.

i got Mosley by decision IF he fights Margarito, if he boxes it will work to Margarito's advantage....he needs to hurt Margarito and outslug him with his speed and still good power at 147....Cotto abandoned his aggression and tried to box Margarito and we saw what happened to him....Mosley needs to fight Margarito the way he fought Cotto in the last rds of their fight....

I have to admit, I am serious.

I was clowning Margo for taking this one. But like I said, I can admit when I'm wrong. The more I look at it, the more I give Shane a chance of making a good showing. He might not be as washed up as he appeared in that Mayorga fight.

But I didn't really see him as being decidedly faster than Cotto at this stage of his career.
