:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl I cant believe you just mentioned Baby Kermit!

Bottom line is at the time, PBF had more fans & made more money in 1 single fight than all those guys did combined!

What the hell is all this bitching about fighters who shouldn't be fighting at the weight. He makes the weight comfortably and is the champ with big fights to have in that division so why would he move up?

I'm picking Margo by UD what are you talking about.:patsch All I'm trying to really say is Margo is limited and he uses the fact that he's big WW to his advantage. He could really fight at 154 comfortably but would rather stay at 147 where it better suits his style. But people like you seem to think I''m just making **** up.:-(

If that's the case why is it that PBF shows up on fight night for a fight at 147 at 149 or less? Most 140 pound fighters weigh more than that on fight night. What that tells me is maybe he's not a real WW???:think

He is limted in terms of traditional text book boxing skills yes, but he makes up for it not just in size, that is a very small portion of the game, he knows how to use that size, there are alot of big guys out there that dont know how to use that size.
He also makes up for his lack of traditional boxing skills in the heart chin and will department and his conditioning. Margarito looks slow but he isnt as slow as you think, and yes he looks wide and is wide with his shots, but they come from very odd angels which are always a problem because the ones you dont see do bigger damage than the ones you do see.

The man started his career as a lt weight BTW or did you not know that?

No that just tells me Floyd is trying keep his speed advantage, especially when you have shoulder and hand problems you never know how the fight is going to turn out.

I think Floyd is a real welter, to be honest with you, just cus he is short doesnt mean nothing, the man has big shoulders and his legs are pretty solid, he will look small to guys like DLH and Margarito cus they have height but Floyd is rock solid.

I think he doesnt over hydrate or eat after weigh ins so that he keeps his speed with him for the fight.

I understand the whole drying out and then rehydrating and all that stuff, but can someone tell me how exactly they can swing 10 pounds in 24 hours? When I fought at 147 my walk around weight was 152 - 154, and after camp I was 148 - 150 and then made 147 lbs. I entered the ring at no more then 150 pounds. How do these guys put on 10 - 15 pounds come fight night without being bloated and f*cked up?

Boxing should be about fighting and who is the best fighter, not who has the most money. Mayweather wants no part of a true Welterweight who is taller and more powerful then he is and that is ranked in the top 5, thats the bottom line.
