Mosley would make short work of Mayorga. It would produce some great fireworks for as long as it lasted - but Mayorga is simply outgunned against Mosley. At first, I was surprised to hear about a possible Mayorga/Mosley match - as it seemed that the logical opponent for Mayorga would have been Vernon Forrest. Upon reconsideration, I realize that win or lose, Mayorga will always have a Forrest rematch to fall back on. Mayorga will probably get a better payday fighting Mosley, so perhaps it makes sense to all the parties involved. Still, I'll believe when it's announced. Anything can happen.
for some reason i feel like the mosley-judah "consolation" bout would have more teeth... i'd rather see that (at 147)
Mayorga gets iced again but gets paid again as usual. This guy knows how to capatalize on the hype and get paid above and beyond what he really brings to the table.
Another loss for Mayorga. If it happens, it will be a good win against a terrible fighter with a big name, and it will only do better Mosley after the Cotto loss.
Always talking ****, thats probably why your asking where to hit someone in another thread, cause you say stupid **** and now you might have to back it up.
I am afraid that it's going to happen in May 31 and according to KO TV, but only a knockout inside 7 or 8 rounds can have any significance for Shane... As for Mayorga, this is the window of opportunity that opened when he took always dangerous and rough Fernando Vargas ( now a shadow of his old self). Basically, Mayo doesn't deserve this but I have to agree that both names put together still sell - Shane is going back to 154 pounds and back to loading up, muscling up, slugging it out. At least, he doesn't disappear for 9 months like he did between Collazo and Cotto in 07.
