i noticed that too. mosley cant finish floyd in the 2nd round. he was gasping for breath and it was just in the 2nd round. the power punch is still there but the stamina is gone. he is not totally shot. he lacks combination punches. he becomes one dimensional. jab jab right hand throw! its very predictable. floyd adjusted to that.

couldn't get this post thru bc mayweather once a again has esb going crazy but i originally wrote...congratulations you've made the 1st excuse thread...floyd made that ****er look shot as expected. pot shot to victory my ass....maybe if mosley fights pac (more of floyd's leftovers) everyone will say how great pac is for beating him lmao. floyd is in a no win situation.

 

It's funny how the haters wen't from "Shane by decapitation" or "this is never gonna happen, Floyd will duck him" before the fight was signed, to "Floyd will run and cry his way to a boring UD" and "Shane is old but he can KO Floyd, if he hits floyd it's lights out, Floyd won't go anywhere near him" after the fight was signed, to "Shane is so old, he shouldn't be away from his oxygen tank" after the ass beating.

Don't understand how people think Mosley is shot. Wasn't it Pac's camp that dodged Mosley after Pac vs. Hatton because Roach thought Shane was too good? And now after Floyd dominates against Shane, people start cushioning Mosley's loss with the excuse of him being shot?

Mosley got caught up in Floyd's thinking game after the 2nd round and everything went down hill from there. He wasn't able to adjust nor listen to Nazim's advice because he was too caught up looking for opportunities to land one big punch rather than trying to break Floyd down. Shane underestimated Floyd's ability to get back into a defense form after creating contact, which is where Floyd's speed and agility is so lethal - being able to put the gun back in the holster with the same speed as the bullet that comes out to hit your target.

 

Shane wasn't good enough and he never was. Great fighter tho'. He was just bested by superior, A+ talent.

At first it looked exciting, lotsa action. Then Mosley gassed, he couldn't even muster the steam to keep his flurries going when he had his only chance. The fight then went down downhill and became about an old dog trying to keep up.

Wtf was up with Nazim telling Shane to box like he wasn't gassed? If he could go out there and throw down like round 2 he would have, sheesh. Think about conserving your boxer for a bit so he can muster a do or die flurry cuz there was no way Mosley could win **** pitty pat punching Mayweather like that, fully gassed.

You could say that Mayweather was just that damn good but I have a hard time saying that while watching Mosley spit out a lung sucking air. Mayweather looked good sure, but was it because Mosley looked that bad or did Mayweather really make him look that bad?
