    :wtf:lloll

My tooth is loose:shock:....... nope no good. He could have bought a whole mouth full of teeth with the money he was gonna make.

I wanna go on vacation:huh.....wherever he was going it was gonna still be there when he got through fighting Floyd.

If Floyd woulda' done this, there would be no doubt that he ducked Shane, right? But since it's Shane these are legit reasons, nah I ain't buying that one.:-(

Sorry for not meeting your criteria of being a true boxing fan.

I don't know about you, but I personally would like the boxers who entertained me in the past, to be healthy and successful once they are done with pro boxing. It's great entertainment and a great sport, but these fighters are flesh and bone too, and they will have to live a life after boxing. I don't want them to be all brain damaged or physically disabled or a basketcase, once we are all through with them.

Some boxers are born and bred as warriors, who will fight to the death, who loves inflicting pain and will give you a bloody, brutal fight everytime. And I love watching those guys.

And some boxers see boxing as a job, and do it simply for the money and the glory and victory, and don't really like hurting people and getting hurt themselves.

Floyd seems to be this type of boxer.

And while he's not my favorite kind of boxer, I still see his fights as interesting. I still will watch his fights.

If many, many people hate his fighting style enough, the public will not watch his fights anymore, and he will earn less money, and will be forced to fight a more offensive minded, more dangerous fighting style.

But since people seem to keep on paying good money to watch him fight the same way, why fix what aint broke?

It's Floyd's call if he wants to fight the best in his division or above his own division. You're not the one getting smashed by hooks to ribs. You're not the one getting smacked around the ring.

We all just watch. And whine.

Floyd can't force you to change your mind if you think he doesnt deserve to be called an ATG. So, don't sweat it. If you hate his fights, don't watch him anymore.

Only time will truly cement where he will place among the ATGs of boxing.

Bull****. Dougie is hardly unbiased, but he lays a good challenege to those making the Mosley ducks Mayweather bull**** that is just posted on here over and over again.

    http://www.ringtv.com/blog/695/dougies_massive_mosleymayweather_mailbag/

I didn’t breeze by anything. That claim that Mosley ducked Mayweather when they were lightweights is bogus. I covered both guys when they won their world titles -- and back then (in 1998 and 1999) I was close to BOTH camps -- and I can tell you that a fight between the two was NEVER seriously discussed or negotiated between Mayweather’s promoter Bob Arum and Mosley’s promoter Cedric Kushner.

When Mayweather won his 130-pound title in ‘98, hardcore fans began talking about the prospect of Mayweather and Mosley fighting at 135 pounds. What really sparked the discussion was a split among the boxing press as to who deserved to be the Fighter of the Year for 1998. THE RING went with Mayweather, who beat Hernandez for the title and defended it against Angel Manfred (TKO 2). The Boxing Writers Association of America went with Mosley, who defended his lightweight title five times, all by stoppage (including the likes of John-John Molina and James Leija). So from that point (in early ’99) it was natural for the boxing media and the fans to debate who would win if they fought (and for the record, I was leaning towards Mayweather), however, there were NO serious discussions about this fight.

Any crap-ass internet boxing writer who says there was probably wasn’t even around at the time. And if anyone -- fan or media -- who wants to debate me on this, all I ask is that you please contact Arum and Kushner and get their comments before you waste my time and yours with silly ass email debates

And just to show I'm not a biased blind poster ala a M1P4P1 mould, this little snippet of wisdom from the Dougsterinio.

And by the way, I think Marquez is going to shock the s__t out of Needs Money. When’s the last time Mayweather took on a fighter as smart, skilled, experienced and gutsy as Marquez? This ain’t Carlos Baldomir, a faded Oscar De La Hoya, or a made-to-order Ricky Hatton, this is Juan-Mother-F__king-Marquez he’s stepping in the ring with, the man who gave Manny Pacquiao pure hell last March and then knocked out Joel Casamayor and Juan Diaz.

Which video? The interpreted bull**** ones that the Floydians post on this issue over and over again?

You're referring to the one where Shane, immediatley after a fight doesn't really say outright what he wants to do yet when he's still cooling down after stopping Vargas?

I don't always agree with Dougie - but this is in STARK contrast to the straight up ducking of the Margaritto 8 million which was well documented.

A youtube video from a post fight interview is to you an official "ducking" then knock yourself out, ps: I have a great bridge in New York for sale if you're interested too...

I dont have a Problem Floyd vs Shane just to end the debate whos better but honestly even if Floyd beats him what will he gain.

I can just here all the idiots on hear saying he was to old, over the hill, past his prime (which he is), shell of his former self etc etc.

In the end of the day it doesnt matter who Floyd beats at this point because the guy is never going to get credit unless he jumps in a time a machine and beats a prime sugar ray leonard.

The reason he gave Forrest and Wright a shot cause Mosley wanted to be the undisputed champion. I guarantee if Wright or Forrest didn't hold title belts when Shane was the unify champion, would Shane still fight them? Hell no. And Mosley didn't have a choice anyway cause when he fought Forrest, there was nobodyelse available for a big fight for Mosley. Remember Mosley called out Trinidad but Trinidad was busy. Oscar in that time was doing music so whoelse was out there for Mosley before facing Forrest? Mosley had to fight Wright in order to get a huge payday vs Trinidad should Mosley win it so Mosley didn't have any option.

Cooling down? You talk like Shane was in a war with a shot decline Vargas in a rematch lol. Mosley easily destroyed Vargas in the rematch with out any problem. Mayweather was there at ringside to watch if Mosley wins it in which he did. Mayweather wanted to fight Mosley in november of 06 but what did Shane do? This is what he said "I need a vacation. Mayweather needs to fight Margarito first before fighting me. My tooth is killingme." <<<<:lol:

After all that bull **** you just said it still doesn't change the fact that Floyd Said he wanted to fight Shane and he said and I quote "I gotta get my tooth fixed cause it's loose then he said he wanted to go on vacation".

So let me get this straight If you and I were fighters and you said on national tv that you wanted to fight me and I replied by saying I gotta get my tooth fixed cause it's loose then said I wanted to go on vacation you wouldn't say I was ducking you? Yeah right...:lol:

P.S. I think your stuck with that raggedy ass bridge you got for sale...:rofl:rofl:rofl
