guess what mr boxing expert, when people get older, they lower their basic attributes, is jones as fast and powerful as he once was? is his footwork as good as it once was?, mora is in his prime, its how boxing works ATG's like mosley jones, tyson etc, they all lose fights towards the end of their career when they go on for too long, its what heppens in the sport, do you follow boxing?

Mosley has been aging, and it showed against Cotto, yes. He didn't forget everything he knows, but some of his best attributes in his prime were physical ones, ones that have faded. And he never knew how to deal with bigger fighters that well, in case we've forgotten, though he'd have more than likely beaten Mora in his prime, as Mora is no Winky.

Iron chin has nothing to do with it, the size and youth advantage that Mora has against an aging, slowing Mosley does.

So Mosley had trouble with Winky Wright at 154 so were going to make comparisons of Winky and Mora?? Sorry for being brash......just wanted to coax your visions by such wonderful unbiased posters on how Mora beats Mosley

    Cheers

Isn't Mora a middleweight who came down to fight Forrest?

Honestly I'd LOVE to see Mosley destroy Mora...but Shane hasn't had a fight since November..is aging..and who knows what mental strain the steroids/tainted legacy talk is having on him?

I'm taking Shane for now but it's a lot closer than some people will think.

It appears my tactic worked well

    Thanks mates:good

Mosley is far from shot and will remind all of us by devastating Mora

Sure boxers do get old some however age quite nicely....Glen Johnson being a prime example

If you read my post I said directly that a prime Shane would probably beat Mora and that Mora was no Winky. Way to completely twist my words.

Biased? Are you implying that I'm biased towards Mora? I like Shane a good deal better, and don't even keep track of Mora much, I'm simply going with logic at this stage of both fighters careers.

Well a very fundamental way to judge a potential matchup is to go by their previous performances........
So the Mosley that lost to Cotto gets beat by the Mora that beat Forrest...right?

    Just checking

You're forgetting that Shane is not the same opponent as Forrest, not the same size or style, and is fading himself, while Mora is the bigger fighter who'd likely be looking to box more against the aging, smaller Shane.

Other than the H2H way, considering Forrest beat him twice, and dominated him in the first fight really.
