S it at 154, Mosley has never looked great there, and whilst Mora is no Winky, he's safe enough (and Misley is past it enough) to win a decision IMO.

But what are they building him up for? One of the numerous dangerman at 154? For a crossroads fight with Danny Jacobs? A potential JMW Alvarez opponent? Or for a crack at one of the dangerman at 160?

Regardless of the result of the Mosley fight, Mora is going knowhere IMO. GBP are wasting their time if that's what they're trying to do.

It's a bit ****ed up though considering Mosley is sort of the promoter as well though

Honestly, I don't reckon they're pushing Mora.Although you'd think if they were rooting for Shane they'd put him in with someone who'd come to him.

    Mora's young(ish) and Mexican

They can get more out of him than Mosley.

They can't be, as you said, hes not very good. Its just a likely Mosely fancies a fight against a name people have heard of without taking on a real top guy.

i disagree there pushing mora to. its an easy win for shane and he can pick up a payday against someone at 154lbs.

Let's be honest, despite beating an unmotivated Forrest (and getting beatdown in the rematch) it's The Winner of The Contender from **** knows when against a past prime Shane Mosley.

Shanes punch resistance is fading FAST. But Mora can't whack, and whilst awkward, will not stop Shane outworking him IMO. Despite styles, age etc etc this is a fight. I'm pretty confident this version of Shane Mosley is a better fighter than Sergio Mora.

Terrible card. Mosley v Mora, who would've predicted that 12 months ago. Ortiz v Harris is alright but it's a step down from Campbell for Ortiz. And the return of Baldomir means I can hand back my sleeping tablets as I wont need them for that night.

If Sky pick up this card of JuanMa v Rafa they want hunted down for it. And don't think it's not possible because it is.

I agree Mora doesn't have the fire power or the slickness to cause Shane to many problems.

I do believe that the Berto fight would have been made if Andre didn't want 50/50, which to be fair isn't a good deal because Berto isn't a draw how many people turned up at his last fight and he also stands to gain a lot more from that fight then Shane would. The Mora fight got made because of the budget and because he is a GBP fighter so it is an easier fight to make.

IMHO Ortiz-Harris is comfortably the least interesting fight of the 3.

I agree Golden Boy are being clever putting on big names trying to push up sales and stop people from moaning about shite undercards but the reality is that these match-ups suck and to be honest so did one or two of from the card on Saturday.

He's naturally much bigger than Mosley though, who never suited LMW. Younger too, Mosley didn't look like he could outwork anybody over 12 rounds in the May fight.

Either way, I'd prefer it if Mosley retired. Even if he did win, any of the top guys at 154 would just be another dangerous fight.

Retired, or Berto, he's there for the taking and would be a title.

I can't believe I'm getting into this debate with a card as dull as this but Alvarez v Baldomir is more interesting? How?

your gonna upset a lot of folks wanting to see JuanMa v Rafa :verysad

I agree with you. Apart from Pac fights, Sky and Top Rank don't seem to wanna do business.
