I saw the spanish feed and Mora clearly won with his holding and inside fighting

For the record, Mosley was an absolute gentleman while being interviewed at the end of the fight. He showed real class even though Merchant kept trying to goad him into saying it was a robbery.

    I'm comfortable with the draw.

HBO, for their part, was shamelessly cheerleading for Shane the entire fight.

By the way, Mosley is my favorite fighter.

The international feed was almost as bad.

Dave Bontempo who called the fight did a decent job I feel, but his sidekick (I forget his name) gave the first 9 rounds to Mora.:yikes
.......from listening to Lampley in the past, I can just imagine how nauseating he must have sounded like in his cheerleading of the GBP fighter.:nut

......but that Bontempo sidekick would have the viewer believe Mora was puttiing on a boxing clinic, and he most certainly must have influenced how Bontempo who called it 115-113 in favor of Mora....
I'm not sure Bontempo comes up with that score for Mora had he not been inundated with having to listen to how Mora was winning rounds on ring generaship.

......anytime the commentators bring up a fighter winning rounds due to ring generalship, you know that means you're watching a snoozefest.

I thought Mora was superior in the inside and in the outside. 8-4 for Mora.

This is a good idea, but there were also more broadcasts. I'm not sure who was the broadcaster, but I was watching a Spanish version, and they brought Canelo alongside to comment. They were totally on Canelo's nuts! They also said Mora should push it more, but I don't think they gave a scorecard. I wasn't paying attention too much to the commentating. I somewhat enjoyed the fight, and basically saw Mosley get outlanded. He had the total look of having lost, just like the second ODLH fight. I'm shocked to learn anybody though Mosley won.

I thought the fight was a stinker until the last few rounds. I was rooting on Mosley because he was pushing the action, but totally showed that doesn't know how to cut off the ring. The only person I saw get rocked was Mosley. I do think he's past it, but an aggressive fighter can still make Mosley look young.

I've noticed that Mosely always has this dumbfounded look when he's confused and not being able to figure out how to get his punches off correctly......

.......however, he's had that look in him in fights he's won as well.....

That look you're talking about is'nt reallly an indicator of that he feels he's losing however, imo he's just unknowingly showing he wants to do more and accomplish more than what he's currently doing.....

......that look you're talking about was also present in the mid rounds of the first DLH fight, and in the scorecards of most ring experts, Mosley won that fight going away.

Some fighters like Mosley just wear their heart on their sleeve, others show the same even keel emotion whether they're winning or losing.
.......ultimately a fighter showing frustration, does'nt always mean he's losing, a perfect example was the late rounds of the Pacquiao-Cotto fight......Pac was dominating, but was visibly frustrated that Cotto was on the run, and Pac was having a hard time reaching him with shots of potency.
Pac was winning those rounds, yet there was frustration on his face.

Serious reaching is serious. Give it up. Pac was frustrated with Cotto running (in the context that Pac just gave Cotto the biggest beatdown of his career) in comparison to Mosley frustrated that he can't hit a white guy (in jest)? C'mon, who you ****ing kidding man? You're just making **** up to satisfy your denial.

If you have nothing of susbstance to add to the thread except to criticize and knock someone's intergrity, go post in your own damn thread.......

......you should actually just be reading these posts and let those who actually watch the fights comment about them.

The commentators influenced my thoughts that Mora won albeit slightly and boringly. However, it's like a draw always finds its way for a fighter on his way out (age and all) .... so it's Mora's fault that he just didn't let his hands go in the end.
