Damnit... Mosley is a little too dangerous for Pac. If he takes it anywhere within 143-147 then I would still have to favor Mosley.

Little guy has definitely got some balls.

mosley comes across as junior witter only in the sense that this fight is not going to happen......

mosley, like witter, doesnt understand why hes not going to get any honey.

    thats just the truth.

if pac wants a belt at welterweight he should man up and a fight at welterwight for it. it's a ridiculous concept to handicap the champion of a division by draining him a few pounds in order to get a belt from a division higher. this **** is weird that belts are even being spoken about at anything less than 147

true, but because boxing cheapens itself by making so many paper champions its only natural that the sport itself is for sale too.

I HOPE Mosley vs. Pacman happens so Pacquiao can UD Mosley and become WW champ. Then the fight with Cotto will happen and Cotto will beat Pacquaio so all you haters can stop saying he only fights for vacant belts, THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN go on to beat Berto and voila, THE official WW champion de Caguas Puerto Ricooooooooo, Migueeeeeel Angeeeeeel Cooooooottooooooo!!!

    JESUS.

He weighed 146 in his last fight, a few more push-ups that night and he can weigh-in at 145! Drain? How about eating a couple of quarter-pounder at McDonalds right after the weigh-in?

    I mean, C'mon!

Cotto is just either being a ***** by still wanting to hold on to his title after a loss in this fight, or wants more purse money.

If Cotto doesnt take the fight with Pacman now, he may never will. If Pacman beats Mosley, PBF is definetely next.

    1. WW is from 141 to 147.
    2. Pac from 138 on his last fight in May wanted Cotto at 143. Miguel then offered to fight him at 145, one pound less from his last fight in June.

Even better, Pacquaio should just fight the contenders at 140 if he's going to fight WW's at catchweights the rest of his fights. I said this before and I'll say it again, I much rather see Cotto vs. Mosley and God willing Cotto gets by Mosley again, a fight with Berto or set up a potential fight with PBF.

At least, you can't fault Shane for not trying. Who knows? Pac might get pissed w/ Cotto and he would take Shane's attractive offer.

make history the right way... simple as that. Cotto is finally speaking up after so many years. Manny already has all the advantages in so many ways, from money, to location of the fight, to weight. Now he wants a belt, Cotto is doing the right thing by at least using it for his advantages to see if he could get something out of it. Trust me cotto doesnt fear Manny, hes fought the top welterweights. Has anyone thought maybe Manny's team and Freddy don't have confidence with Manny going in at 147 against Cotto like they did with DLH?:good
